There is an employee shortage nationwide, so you and I should have sympathy for these guys. They are only so many of them, and they are overworked. Having said, their scheduling portal is a mess. I tried to schedule one myself but could not as the page did not load, so I went into their store. Tech showed me what he sees on his end; it is an uncomprehending jargon. The originally scheduled date was a fault on my end, but for the second one, he double-booked me with another person. Things were straightened, and the installation was seamless. Tech knew what he was doing and asked me the right questions along the way. The price, too, cannot beat $80. I would pay more for someone to do an installation like this. Best Buy is true to its word; there were no hidden fees.

My son wanted a dash cam in his car,So we went in to check on some.I am clueless when it comes to these things,As is my son for the most part.But Phil and Chris went over each one,?And what they thought was best for my sons needs.They scheduled us really fast considering its almost xmas,And two days after my son took his car in they both jumped on it and wow,?Its great.We will always be going to them My son and i both highly recommend them.Thanks guys.

Front and rear dash cams installed in my daughter’s 24 Sentra. Install is great with wires hidden and hardwired to power on and off automatically. This is the second vehicle I’ve had done and will be taking the wife’s 25 Sentra soon.

Finished faster than expected and was a very professional job.

Ordering this service was easy enough BUT I could find no way to add rear camera installation. Best Buy no longer offers dash cam installation at my local store. Closest is an hour+ away. Making an appointment for installation was a nightmare. Couldn’t do it on line. Finding way through call line took too long. Best Buy pestered me about keeping the appointment. The phone check in didn’t work. Installers not ready at appointed time. Waited 2 hours +. Installer declined to use the “hardwire” kit I purchased from Best Buy (said to be for “all” dash cams. Installer declined to install the rear camera because it was an exterior camera. Dash Cam instructions indicate that rear camera can be either exterior or interior. When ordering, I was given no rear camera information. Main camera installation works fine. All in all, miserable experience.

I am very pleased with my front and back dash cameras installation. My only complaint is that it cost me 5 times the amount I was quoted, and paid on the website in advance. Over all I am happy.

Easy to make an appointment to get my dashcam installed. The installation was quicker than expected. The technician was very courteous and professional. He walked me through the operation of the installed equipment. All the wires were hidden everywhere from front to back. I am happy that I had them do this and would definitely have them do it again in the future.

here is how it happened. I was getting my bmw m8 competition dash cam installed that day, but it took nearly 5 hours since the guy who installed for me couldn't find the right cable to connect to the dash cam, from that I have remind him to look over similar model which we had finally found the right cable. We could've save some time if he just asked me about the model. While he take the parts that covers the cable, he made dent over the leather at the bottom passenger side which can not be repaired but only to replace the whole center console, not only that, he had also made a hole in the car with scratch on the body of the car without asking my option, as picture and video shows. While he puts the part back above the mirror, he made damages towards the cover and broke the plastic plug at the both end because he jammed it too hard without really looking into it. At the end, he accidentally put glue on the receipt and directly put it on to the center console because he was also working on the other cars as well. The glue fell down and melt into the leather of my center console which the guy had tried serval time to get rid but can never comes off. After that I have asked two body shops if that can be repaired and receive the negative response, besides that, I just got my car new for 2 weeks would not like to have damage on the car but to replace with a new component. And here is the picture and video of the damages. Also the Quotes from two different auto shops. Passed three weeks with no response at all!

Ryan install a mirror and rear cam in my car. He hardwired them, and hid the cords. He did an excellent job!! I highly recommend Ryan!!

Needed a hardwire install for a dashcam. I drove a little over an hour away from Pittsburgh, to the Morgantown, WV store because the local Pittsburgh Best Buys had installs pushed over a month and a half before an appointment was available. The installers at Morgantown were excellent, friendly, and professional to work with. It's been about six months since the install and everything is still working as it should. Wires are still neatly tucked away and everything is tip top. Next time I need anything installed for my vehicle I will absolutely return to the same store. Just wish they had some kind of a waiting area, but that's my fault for driving over an hour. Just kind of bummed around the store and pretended to shop.

This was installed by Cory at store 1428 who I talked to and was the only one in the store that understood my problem with my camera. I had purchased a camera and parts where missing and it took 3 calls to customer service and 3 trips to the store to get them to take it back. And I find out that Best Buy was not currently selling the camera I had ordered which had already had its power cable hard wired in my car. I purchased another camera and Cory was able to squeeze me in to have it installed to all the problems I had.

Excellent service for my dahs cam install took less than an hour.

Good service and professionalism. Disappointed that tech could install both cameras requiring me to make another appointment for install which was 4 weeks out. Now that appointment was cancelled by Best Buy with no date in sight within 3 months of the original date my appointment was set. Long time to wait to complete install.
