I have had the team at Best Buy install 2 dash cams and they are great and do good work! We will be back to have the 3rd one installed as well.

The installer was fast and did a clean job; I was in and out in under 30 minutes.

AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB INSTALLING OUR DASH CAMP. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.

My installer (Joshua C.) was extremely courteous, walked me through what he'd be doing, that all the parts and pieces were included with my unit (Cobra), and that it would take around 1.5 hours, give or take a few minutes. He informed me of 2 waiting areas in the store, both near restrooms, and said he'd call my cell if he needed me. An hour and 5 minutes he called to say the installation was finished and I could come to the service area and pick my car up. He gave me a brief tutorial on how the device operated, and that more info could be obtained online when I registered the device. I drove away happy with this installation. The service technician was the highlight of this installation. I can highly recommend the BB installation service.

The installer used some kind of new adapter to hook up my dash cam, when I went to back out of the bay I realized my backup cam wasn't working. I brought it back in and he narrowed the problem down to the adapter. He tried a new one and everything seemed to work. I started driving down the road and the dash cam started turning off and on every time I hit a bump so I turned around and went back. The installer said this was the first time using these adapters so he was going to install it without the adapter. He cut into some cables and soldered the connections and re-wrapped the cables. I was very impressed with that as most installs I've had in the past just used crimp on splices for everything which work but they will never last like a soldered connection.

I have been using Best Buy car installation department since 2008 and always they do the best install with no problem. I just had my car dash cam installed to my brand new car. The installation process went very smoothly.

He was friendly and did a fantastic job on installing my rear camera, for my dash cam.

The person who did my dash cam was very nice and super easy to work with. He called me to let me know that I could come in earlier for the appointment if I wanted to, and he installed the dash cam very quickly. He also communicated and explained everything to me very well. 10/10 experience I will definitely be going here again!

I searched everywhere to get my dashcam instaled. After checking 2 different Best Buys i found one further then i hoped. It was a drive to get there and it was worth it. The auto rech giy was amazing. He took his time, asked me for my input. I'll glady make the drive to get him again.

Before going to Best Buy , I went to some shops and got the price for installation of my dash cam. The other shop gave me triple price and when I came to Best Buy , I immediately decided to book appointment. I really enjoyed people working there , they were helpful and friendly. They also helped me to clean my car for free! I couldn’t believe how kind they were, but they did everything for me. Thank you

I purchased a Kenwood dash cam from Best Buy and ordered a professional installation. The tech did a good job and in less than 90 minutes I drove away with a basic setup on the cam. A short tutorial later, I drove home and went through the complete setup which required removing the camera and attaching it to my computer. It was then I discovered there is a new firmware download available. Online instructions from Kenwood were easy to follow, but when the firmware installation was finished, I had to completely set up the camera again. Fortunately, the tech had mentioned those items he changed during the install so it didn't take long to restore the configuration.

I was a little worried at first about the Dash Cams being hard wired in, I wasn't sure how they were going to do that and that made me nervous. The Geek Squad Technician reassured me that installation was going to be super easy and not to worry. So I told him I trust him and came back when they called that it was ready. Once he showed me my vehicle (everything on the inside was the same, no worries about how it was installed) and showed me how neat the cameras were installed I was very pleased with the service, installation and dash cams. I trust the Geek Squad (I don't trust very many people touching my vehicle) and recommend them to anyone looking to get something installed. We will be back to get another dash cam for Moms car!
