I couldn't get an appointment by phone.. I came into the store and the man behind the Geek Squad counter helped me immediately. Without an appointment. He was very helpful

I received excellent service from the Geek squad on my laptop data transfer in-store. My only qualm pertains to the price. I believe this service was significantly overpriced, particularly due to the fact that I did not have a very large amount of data saved onto my computer. $100 is a little steep.

They did trouble shooting on my elderly mothers computer and found it was taken over by a hacker in the Phillippines ... they tried to transfer $3,000 from her checking account before I could shut it all down (as her son, and I'm a computer tech) ..... so we took it in and they found the issue, but my mother decided to buy a BRAND NEW COMPUTER at Best buy and we just took the old hacked on home ... they also told me how to fix the old one... I need to wipe the hard drive ..... but overall it was a GREAT EXPERIENCE and the people were VERY NICE ..... WILL GO BACK WITH ANY ISSUES ANY TIME --- great experience. Hope you consider my 82 yr old mom in your $400 gift card contest .... that would make her SOOOOO HAPPY and she could get some more stuff she REALLY needs ....

I needed to download pictures from my husband's phone. Which the agent determined was 2300. The BB agent suggested a flash drive given my circumstances. The agent offered to wipe one of their computers so this could be done. I left my phone with him as directed. I later received a phone call that BB policy had changed and the bb phone should not been left. It was inconvenient but cordially handled. $100 seemed a lot for the service but I was in great need. Tell me that I was not scammed. Thank you.

Had a few issues with data back up, but staff worked with me and eerything was ultimately as I wanted it. Speed very impressive on new computer considering I transferred one third of unit's capacity from previous computer. Staff explained everything to me and now I am fully operational and doing tasks quickly and efficiently!

Highly competent and very efficient staff! They helped me find a replacement computer, transferred all my old files, uploaded new software and helped orient me to the new computer. VERY excellent service!

Stathis was the man, and Eddie and the whole crew. it is a great service and they recovered my data , including a couple of important screenplay projects I had been working on when I got the blue screen of death. I greatly appreciate the service. They also were all very professional and got the job done.

Data was smoothly transferred from an old desktop computer to my wife's new laptop. In addition, all data from my old Lenovo was transferred to my satisfaction to my new laptop.

The data transfer was recommended to me when I expressed my concern about losing the data from my old computer after purchasing a new computer. I had two older computers, and the data was transferred from one to my new computer and I purchased a flash drive and the data from the other computer was transferred onto the flash drive.

I am accustomed to data transfer for an iPhone. Everything on the old phone comes over to the new phone. In the case of data transfer to our new laptop, saved files came over, but I had to reload programs. I had to get creative in the case of some free programs on the Internet whose exact name I could not recall. I wish I had known that in advance.

When I brought my computer in for repairs, I was really nervous about losing all my files—photos, documents, everything. Thankfully, Geek Squad offered a data backup service, and it was a total lifesaver. They backed up everything safely before doing any work, and when I got my computer back, all my files were right where they should be. They explained everything clearly, handled it professionally, and made the whole process super easy. If you’ve got important stuff on your device, I 100% recommend letting them handle the backup. Huge peace of mind.

My older PC stopped getting power, so not able to power it up. I took it to Best Buy where I had a Geek Squad Account. They told me that they would be unable to examine it due to the no power problem. They could send it off for a examination, but the cost would be over a hundred dollars. So I bought a new one from Best Buy and had the Geek Squad remove all the data from my old one to the new PC. I assumed that would include my Kodak Easy Share S/W which I used to upload pictures to my PC. When I got the new PC home after the Geek Squad finished, I could not find things like my old pictures, documents,etc. I visited the Geek Squad who explained to me where the data files were located. They informed me that they are not allowed to remove any personal software to the new PC. I went back home and took the Disk containing the Kodak S/W and installed it, which seemed to work. When I tried opening it nothing came up. I called Kodak and was informed that they no longer supported the Easy Share S/W in any way, including downloads. That is why the download did not work and now I have a useless camera. That is the only real issue I had with the $80 dollar Geek Squad effort. I had a legitimate Kodak S/W on my old PC, so I really would have liked to have it on my new PC.

The Geek Squad was fast in moving my files to my new computer, set it up with the virus checker for me, moved all my files (even ones I hadn't recalled were on it), and made sure it ran right. Later, the same gentleman even helped me figure out the new video player program and made sure it was running correctly for me. It also makes me feel more secure with my laptop purchase that I have their backup expertise if anything goes wrong. Thanks!

I used the Geek Squad service to transfer data from my old computer to the new Dell Inspiron Desktop. I wanted this done the right way and didn't want to take on the task myself. Their service was very professional and efficient. I am very satisfied with their work.

with 1 of my computers finally in its death throws... I purchased a Seagate 1T portable device. Before my oldest tower shut down after 6 years Geek Squad did a complete Data transfer without losing a thing. It is just like (still) having my old trusty Gateway FX. I plug it in to my new HP as needed. Works perfect ! Best $ ever spent. Keep in mind I do have the annual Geek Squad Protection Plan.

The agent asked great questions and we set a plan to fix/update. The agent was able to safe my files and update my Apple MacBook Pro. Like starting fresh, with no loss, I am in heaven!!! Person at pick up:Conrad, went out of his way to make sure all was up to speed and ready to be in use!
