I was surprised when I began to play the game turn out to be lots of fun I would come home from work and spend hours playing in front of the television well worth the purchase

I haven’t beat the game but, so far, it’s quite good. The graphics are excellent. I don’t have a fancy 4K TV but even on my humble 1080p monitor the game looks so good—the art direction and lighting make for a great visual feast. The gameplay is solid. It’s a third-person shooter so it feels a bit familiar but the dismemberment mechanic makes it feel unique. It’s so fun shooting at enemies’ limbs—watching them slowly lose their flesh and bone until they finally break off. The plasma cutter (the starting weapon) feels great to use—the feedback and sound make for an enjoyable experience. As you progress in the game, you unlock other weapons. They’re all different so they offer new ways to play the game. There’s also the stasis ability which allows players to slow down enemies. This allows players to get some easy kills or to get to a safe distance if one (or several) enemies get too close. The story is interesting. I don’t really care about the stories in video games but, if you do, I don’t think you’d be disappointed with this one. In conclusion, the atmosphere, visuals, and gameplay are all great. I’d highly recommend this game if you like third-person shooters.

Never played the original. So as a first time experience with the story and game design I was very impressed. The graphical is excellent, with the use of the Frostbite game engine. The lighting of the environment nails the horrorcore and suspenseful atmosphere. Sound design is great with the use of good speakers or a a good headset as there is a lot of detail in the noises you hear exploring the massive spaceship the story takes place in. Speaking of the story it is well paced and has good mystery and lore to it. The gameplay/action loop is really good and the weapons are satisfying to use. The monsters and their designs and animations are well executed. Great remake of a game.

A definite love letter to fans of the series and well worth adding to the PS5 game library. While I have all three games for the PS3 the price at the time was a no brainer. The developers really did a fantastic job with this remaster as a lot of the graphics have been incredibly enhanced from the PS3 version. The game still has a great atmosphere of horror and suspense that it had on the PS3. Again a game to get before it's too late.

This game is bomb! I loved the original on PS3 and this revamp does not disappoint. Creeps me out and deeply engages me the same way, but with way better fidelity. Graphics and sound are legit PS5 level, and the the developers have upped the game from a storytelling standpoint, as well (although, I can't recall where the PS3 A and PS5 games deviate). Well worth the purchase and time invested to dismember the horrendous necromorphs that will be all up in your grill. I like to play with dolls with my 8 year old daughter after playing a round of DS to recenter my Chi. Bourbon also helps. Now, go smoke some monsters!!!!

I never had a chance to play the original game and im so glad i had a chance to play it now. Great graphics, great game atmosphere and a great story.

This game is scary! Lots fun for me. Its my first time gaming since my teens. The controls are a little hard but im getting the hang of it.

Best game I’ve ever played really showcases the power of the PS five, This classic game was brought up into up-to-date standards and controls like a masterpiece and will scare the living Jesus out of you highly recommended from all the top critics. A must play through

Dead Space on PS5 is an incredible horror experience with next-gen graphics and bone-chilling sound design. The updated visuals and smooth gameplay make every moment intense. A must-play for fans of survival horror!

Amazing game ! Must have ! Must play ! Easy story line walk through.

Ice been an abicote for years and ill say they did a fantastic job with re writing the game with small aditions here and there. They didnt stray from the origonal story line to much which is fantastic because the original was just stellar. With the updated graphacs and use if modern day technology, this game has come back to life and offers a more dynamic and immersive experience.

Its a solid game. At night with headphones on it definitely gets very unnerving and unsettling. I never played the original so i cant make a comparison but this version looks fantastic and sounds and plays equally great. Definitely has me itching for a remake of the next installment

A classic horror game with overhauled visuals. This story will give you chills as you track through USG Ishimura. With it being up to 30 hours of entertainment to achieve everything this will be a great addition to any collection.

This is one impressive remake of the original. It uses the features of the PS5 to its fullest. They improved the graphic, the gameplay, the environment of the ship and the sounds. It cuts out certain segments and replaces them with something better. It also improves upon certain gameplay elements. Plus this game looks impressive. The graphic are top-notch.

This remake truly exceeded my expectations. The visuals are incredible, the atmosphere is terrifying. With the modern updates and use of the DualSense controller, it really takes it to the next level for an already phenomenal game.

I had never heard of Motive. Nor has my collection of PS5 Ganes gained any further than Remasters & Digital Upgrades for the system alone This is my 1st Hard Copy and it couldn't have been a better title other than RE4 Remake next month. Anyways, its honestly a well done, well needed reboot of horror that's safe to say completely saved this franchise from digging another couple feet in the grave after Dead Space 3(RIP Visceral) Its hard to believe its been a decade since we thought this series was dead. Issac Clarke has his iconic voice thanks to the always multi talented helm Gunner Wright I can't compare this game to any other than just to say its Amazing. Its more cohesive than the original. We all know the original is one of the all time greats but its story wasn't. This time it changed the narrative into a more character driven and linear story. Its the new elements that Dead Space 2 brought to the series made into a solid Remake And lastly no need to worry about the Remake's Campaign Length its no RE 3 Remake. I completed Dead Space Remake in 13 hours(not all in a day, of course). I'm pretty sure i can beat it in less time and be fully upgraded the exact same as i was replaying the orginal.

Great example of how to do a remake without sacrificing what the original accomplished. I did prefer some scenes in the original but still I would say this is the best way to play this game now especially with the added sidequests that help flesh out the story more.
