a great remake replaces the og dead space so play this one

This was a fantastic remake that stayed true to the original game both gameplay and story wise. Changing the game mechanics slightly by being able to fly instead of jump in zero gravity. Even if you didn’t play the original, this is a great horror action adventure for anyone interested in sci fi horror.

I really enjoyed going back to the game after it's initial release on the PS3. The controls are better and the graphics are fantastic. The horror and scare are fun and doesn't really get old.

I started this game and didn't stop till I beat it this was fantastic the Remake was even more amazing than the original sound effects Graphics everything was absolutely awesome definitely recommend wish they would remake part 2

Amazing game, could play for hours. Pretty creepy when you play it at night. Which makes it even more entertaining

This remake takes advantage of the PS5 Graphics and the atmosphere is very rich yet creepy. Gameplay is solid with the dismemberment system and also they added a lot of side quests and backtracking. Five Solid Stars

A fantastic remake. One of the best horror games around. Shame EA doesn’t want to remake the second one.

Remakes have become commonplace in the modern gaming landscape and love them or hate them, they’re likely here to stay. Deadspace is a perfect example of how this can work and improve the game for which it was based on. If you’ve played the 2008 original you know what you’re in for, because it’s the same narrative with some added fleshing out of story ideas. The text and audio logs are here, but they’ve added holographic video logs into the mix showing minor events and interactions between characters that further flesh out characters. There is also the addition of new side missions that have multiple parts and show the key crew members adapting to their situation and their fate. Improvements to gameplay that were found in Deadspace 2 are present in the game, Zero G flight and controversially Isaac now is fully voiced and facial captured by Gunner Wright. I have completed and started a new game + run that offers collectibles that unlock a secret ending and give further replayability to an already great first experience.

Picked this game up for $20 and it was amazing. Definitely worth the money, even at full price

Great Remake to a fantastic game! Dead Space is a top notch horror game. Happy to be able to play the original on PS5.

Dead space has always been a popular game in the industry winning awards but the remake of this game has taken it to the next level with visually appealing gameplay elements that were not previously available.

On Re4 remakes level. They clearly understood the original as the additions and detail fit perfectly.

If you played the original dead space on PS3 you won’t be disappointed with this remake on PS5, it’s actually better in every way possible especially the gameplay. There’s an alternate ending you can unlock and there’s an impossible mode, neither of these were in the original version.

I never played the original but this game is alot of fine. A bit spooky but the story is great. i'm only on chapter 2 of it so i have a long way to go. Not sure how this compares to the original but if you like Dark spooky futuristic games this is an outstanding choice!

...And this remaster blew it out of the park! The only problem I had was during gameplay: the changing atmosphere was very noticeable, especially when backtracking; you usually know which rooms had a jump scare. For example, there was this one particular elevator that had a delayed opening, which was unusual because every other time it opened without that much delay. Of course there was a "surprise" necromorph, but fortunately I had backed up enough beforehand to give me distance and time to react. Perhaps my previous gameplay dulled me to this experience? In any case, it's still a good game, and this remaster added more than what I could remember, even if some parts were obvious. Maybe it'll scare first-time players more?

It's not just a nostalgia trip. The controls are tighter, graphics are of course light years better than the orginal, and the newer things they added are awesome. It feels even scarier than ever honestly lol playing with the lights off only amplifies it. Always reccomend.

A very scary game, much like the original Dead Space from back in the Playstation 3 era now with the Playstation 5 graphics and enhanced sound; definitely sounds spooky when wearing headphones and hearing the monsters from all around you.

If you are a fan of horror and remember the good old days when Dead Space firsr came out. Then this remake will not let you down. Better graphics, gameplay anf sound will keep you on edge for a long time.

This game was and is a masterpiece! I’m just glad that I get to experience it once again. To this day, no other game has made me jump as much as this one and all these years later, it still does! I don’t think I could have asked for a better remake!
