    Trying to find the positive things to say about this film adaptation of a really great Broadway musical is difficult. A lot of changes from the original show didn't work for me. Maybe they should've done a HAMILTON and just recorded the stage musical. As much as I love Ben Platt in the original show when I saw it, watching him play a 17 year old teen on film was really stretching it a bit. Perhaps they should've cast someone who was closer in age to the character. Fans of the stage musical may be dissapointed. The special features are interesting.

    The movie has its flaws but it's nice for those of us who may never see it live. Good picture and sound. Barely any special features which knocks it down a star.

    As ive heard this is a fantastic show, this is a gift for my son and he loved the stage version so im sure he will love the movie version too. and its has bonus material that make it even more memorable!

    This movie got alot of flack for not being good. For someone who hasnt seen the musical, the movie definitely moved me and I enjoyed it alot!

    Bought for my son for Christmas and he loved it. He did mention that they had to cut out some of the scenes from the Broadway musical.

    I was looking forward to seeing this, but the play did not translate well to film. Avoid the film and go so it on stage.
