Reedus and his Ghost Feetus at it again. The ultimate and only UPS simulator that combines beautiful scenery and environments, gunplay and melee combat, with an intense and emotionally powerful story, all while letting you pee on ghosts. 100/10

This entry is more action-RPG than action-horror (which the first was) and is both more accessible to new players and contains a lot of small improvements over the first that make it fun to explore the continent. The world is more engaging and feels less linear, and I think this game overall appeals to a much wider audience than the first game. My only complaint is that it does feel more like a director's cut to death stranding 1 in terms of gameplay, as opposed to an overhaul of gameplay mechanics for a sequel.

A fantastic sequel to Death Stranding 1. So much amazing story, and additional improvements to combat and traversal but there’s some issues with delivery ratings and traversal that could be improved on and a couple issues with the story but overall a fantastic game and a GOTY contender. If you’re a big Kojima fan then youll love this but if your a newcomer you might be a bit lost as to some of the characters and the world establishment and gameplay. Its a question of whether this is for you.

Another amazing game from Kojima. The world of death stranding 2 is beautiful, and even better this time around. Better combat better everything. The story is pretty out there. Having a blast. The music fits the mood so well.

I had seen clips and trailers online for this game. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I would actually pick it up. Games are expensive now. Sometimes you have to kinda pick and choose. But Death Stranding 2 was absolutely worth the price. It's built on an expansive world, filled with pleasant beauties and interesting obstacles. I love running around to make my deliveries. Even more so with the built in music player. Yes, of course I would love to adventure this world with Woodkid playing in my ear! The game is so quirky with all its funny little scenes. But the story is always heartfelt and dynamics are so fun to watch. All around a great game! Its truly unlike any other.

It's also one of the best performing games of this console generation. What they achieved here in the graphics department is nothing short of amazing. But is this a game for everyone? Absolutely not. If you didn't like the first game, then you're likely not going to like this either. This is in spite of all the gameplay improvements and quality of life additions made for this sequel. There's more action in this game, but at its core, it is still something that requires a lot of investment on delivering packages. As for the story, expect the usual stuff from Kojima. If you don't like his way of storytelling, then stay away from this. Anyways, I personally loved the game and is currently my game of the year.

Only a couple hours in and so far so good! Definitely much improved from the first one and surprisingly has more action! Can’t wait to see it through the end!

Fell in love with the series after a few hundred hours in the first game. It’s everything that I loved about the first game and more. Significantly more combat and new stuff to play around with. The coffin board is A1

It's a fantastic story driven game, yet The opposite of being linear. It is a game that makes you dive deep into a world , a new world of imagination.

Excellent! Much more action focused than the first game. Controls are streamlined. Visuals are amazing. Story is engrossing. I really enjoyed the first game, but this sequel improves everything. I do wonder if people can get away with not playing the first game… It does a decent job catching players up with the story, but it’s such a dense and complex world, it might be hard to follow. But, that’s a minor detail. Overall, fantastic game.

A true masterpiece from the greatest producer in gaming. One of the greatest looking games on the PS5. Fantastic story and great gameplay. Don't have a ton of time for gaming these days - but when Kojima creates a game, I'm in.

Very simple but meditative and addictive gameplay loop with an insane story that keeps you coming back to learn more

50+ hours into it at the moment, and the game still has new surprises and things to unlock and discover. I feel I'm definitely getting my money's worth out of this game, and its a definite contender for GOTY in my eyes. The world building is top notch, and even if you havent played the first one, there's a recap at the main menu to get you up to speed. If you're on the fence about getting it, I would highly recommend it.
