I've been hitting my head ever since I pre-ordered this. I knew it would all be made in China and essentially nothing is directly made from Kojima Productions (except the game). I knew it wouldn't really be worth it in the end and it's essentially for the rich people who can afford to spend money left and right. I do not have such luxuries and was just contemplating to return it and just buy air pods since it's that time of year to save a few dollars. But this is Kojima's biggest release after dealing with a bad break up and I think over time the worth of this video game and the collector's edition will definitely be worth it. I think the big briefcase, the steelbook, and the mascot keychain were the best items. The BB pod was indeed a big let down but I think that's why we got the big roll of tape so that we could decorate the BB pod how we really wanted; and knowing Kojima, he probably intended on this as well. I will stand behind you Hideo Kojima-sama until my tomorrow doesn't come.

Death stranding is one of those games you can’t recommend it to anyone BUT if you have an open mind and want to try something new this will give you an odd but yet thrilling experience. The beginning is slow pace but after chapter 2 or 3 that’s when the story really start rolling. I don’t want to say to much I really enjoy the game and I hope you will too.

Really glad I grabbed the collector’s edition. The special items are so unique. The game is a great experience, highly recommended. You have to strategize how you accomplish each task, and it can be tedious, but the visuals are so realistic and the story is fresh, inventive and emotionally moving.

This game has a story that makes absolutely no sense and complete sense at the same time. The gameplay was really cool, even if it is just find a way to go from point a to point b, but I really enjoyed it. The gameplay was figuring out the puzzle of getting from point a to point b, if that sounds good to you than play it.

At least, in my oh so humble gamer opinion, ‘Death Stranding’ should be named - (Console) Video Game of the Year, 2019! Hideo Kojima’s vision has been fully realized within every aspect of this game - from the detailed realistic graphics, spot-on voice acting, mood-inducing atmospheric and ambient sounds, the soundtrack, but most importantly ... the story. Gameplay was flawless, with not a glitch to be found (as of my first play-through). With the release of this game, I finally have a reason to begin gaming again. And I’m taking my time, to see and experience everything, the world of ‘Death Stranding’ has to offer. Thank you Mr. Kojima!

Surprised at how large the box was when I picked this up, and then I realized that the BB pod is 1:1 scale. One of the cooler collector's editions I've seen. The case is functional and the BB pod lights up. I usually prefer an artbook, but this is a pretty cool collector's edition overall.

A game like this rarely comes along. It is in it's own genre, with it's own tone, and a great story to tell. If you're a lifelong Hideo Kojima fan, it's for you. The CE was awesome - the baby is life-sized.

amazing collectors edition and gaming for a niche fan. High details to case, baby container and steelbook. Gameplay is very unique and not for all gamers, but story is complex and visuals are top notch.

I love this game and I love the BB Pod that comes with the Collectors Edition. I’ve spent about 20 hours in the game and I’m at Chapter 3 out of 14 chapters. Definitely got my money’s worth here.

Game is much better than reviews said. Gorgeous visuals and fantastic story. Gameplay is a slow burn but enjoyable and thought provoking when it comes with how to tackle a mission.

The game is amazing and the toys in it is amazing! There’s not much to say but it was really good. It’s very big especially the suit case or whatever you call it.

A story that is as beautiful as it is confusing. The gameplay can be rewarding if approached from the right mindset. I found it to be intriguing.

The game has mixed reviews, but my boyfriend absolutely loved it. However, I just wanted to review this collector's edition! Everything in this edition is absolutely awesome. The BB replica is kinda insane how much detail they added. The case that it comes with is sturdy and doesn't feel like they threw together last second, even if it is made with plastic. Even the ludens Chibi was a cute touch. The dlc was also a nice touch. :) If you are a Kojima fan or even just a fan of this game, this collection is awesome to have.

First off, this isn’t a fast pace kind of game. I will say that everyone considering this game should try it out. The visuals are stunning and the gameplay is relaxing(until you get into the BT territory). This game has a different feeling to it than any other game that I’ve played. If you aren’t a fan of long cutscenes then this probably isn’t for you, regardless of how interesting the story is. I don’t understand why this game has gotten so much hate, but I genuinely enjoy it so far.

The game itself is phenomenal but adding in the 1:1 scale BB is great as well and makes you a part of kojimas new story.

This game will take patience to understand and get through. That said this is a kojima experience though andbtheough story heavy weird and intriguing. Some call it a walking simulator but I'd call it a detailed oriented hiking simulator. This a game for those who like to plan and micromanage to the last detail. A game for thinkers. You wont be button mashing your way through this one. Imo a must have for your playstation exclusive library although it's not for everyone.

The steel book itself is pretty cool, but the main selling point is the "jar" with BB in it. It's beautifully made, if a bit eerie (but people don't buy fake babies in jars cause they give off a cheery vibe I suppose) it still makes a pretty cool collectors pack, if you have a deep love on Death Stranding like me. The Steelbook, Ludens keychain and briefcase are all also well made, the case itself is heavier duty than I thought it would be!
