I went into the purchase knowing nothing about the game. After a few hrs of playing i thought i wasted my money. Stuck around with the game and finally everything was worth it! After the ending of the game i longed for something of physicallity to hold my memories experiencing the story and feel of this universe and this was perfect!

I bought this collectors edition because I’m a huge fan of Kojima’s design aesthetic and innovation. I wasn’t even expecting much from the game itself because I’m not a huge gamer, I mainly buy 1 or 2 games a year depending on the title. But the game is very typical Kojima style as expected, beautifully designed with superior environmental details but confusing storyline and horrible character names. Despite this I think DS has tons of character but don’t expect MGSV level playability. I could not put down the controller when MGSV first came out but with DS I find myself reaching for the controller every few days or so. If you like Kojima style games and are looking for something unique and beautifully designed to add to your collection then hands-down get Death Stranding. On the other hand if you’re more into fast paced edge-of-your seat action games then this may not be for you.

The initial reviews that were down on this game are not all inaccurate. There is a lot of travel and delivery in this game. The game opens up a lot more after a few hours and the story starts to come together. Once you start to understand everything going on and get past the slower section of the game, this is a great experience.

I love this super weird collector's edition. My grandmother has been bugging me about making her some grand children so I bought this collector's edition so I could introduce her to the baby in the jar and claim that it is my son Todd.

This collectors set is huge. The carrying case and B.B. are nice display items. I played several hours of the game and would say it was over hyped. The graphics and game characters are cool. The gameplay is kind of boring. I felt like the mailman who happens to run around with a baby in a jar.

Such a high quality item. If you feel like you were worried, don’t be. It’s such an awesome item and the game is hit or miss depending on the person but I don’t mind slow build games. They zen me out. Loved this one!

I bought it for the toy baby, but kept it for the sexy man from walking dead being a cyber mailman! His mom is the president and sends you tasks!!! From the guy who made metal gear!

Death Stranding is a very strange game, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised with a Hideo Kojima game. The main question is whether it is fun or not, but much like the plot, I don’t have an easy answer. The mechanics are interesting but it’s a very tedious process to view the many long winded cutscenes and then get through all the setup before you even start the mission. Then it’s a trek from point A to B, which can have its moments of fun, but is usually just tedious. The game looks and sounds great and there is a lot of polish in the presentation, but I’m simply just not having much fun with this game and would have a hard time recommending to the masses; However I’m sure there is an audience for this game.

Death Stranding after a few hours reveals its core gameplay and premise to the overall plot. After playing many generic open world games in the past few years this game is a breath of fresh air.

We're living this game, so hat's off to Kojima for his prescience. The game is beautiful, even with the dystopian theme. Needs more guns. Too many menu items and choices. Breach Baby makes a creepy night light. That thing is cool.

It takes a certain type of person to enjoy this game. It takes patience and will to finish the story. If one takes this route they’re treated to something truly amazing. Can’t wait to see what Kojima has in store for us in the future.

If you want a nonstop action game, then this probably isn’t for you. If you want a game about an excellent story and about the struggles of society and life, then here you go.

This game will admittedly not be for everyone, but IT WAS FOR ME! I love this game which is mostly driven HEAVILY by it's unique creative and amazing sci-fi horror storyline. I am playing it on Normal mode and it is a bit hard to tread through the gameplay for the first 3 chapters. After that there are no limits as to how you can traverse the open world. If you find yourself having trouble with the gameplay I IMPLORE YOU to switch the game to "Very Easy Mode" to get through and view this amazing story.

This box is BIG. even for a collectors edition this is big. Money well spent to support someone making weird and interesting games. Rock on Kojima, you mad genius you.

This game is not only intriguing, but has one of the coolest Collectors Editions I’ve seen in a long time! Comes with a lot of cool pieces for a video game collector.

An absolutely amazing game, the story is deep and truly takes hold of you. The bonuses that came with the collectors edition are also cool and very high quality.

I originally bought it because I wanted BB, i wasnt sure if I would enjoy the game since the trailers made it seem scary but it's not. I'm really enjoying the game.

One of the best games I've ever played, with the most stunning visuals. If you only like action fighting games, dont get this, you wont like it!
