If you want something relaxing and unlike a lot of other games you may just enjoy this. The visuals are jaw dropping while the gameplay is transporting packages ect from point a to b it’s how you connect with others to help your fellow man that makes each delivery a story of its own. I haven’t gotten to far but I do believe there is actual shooting with guns but so far I’ve only gotten grenades and a bola gun.

I have been waiting for this one for a while and best buy actually came in clutch and I got it on release day at my house! It's got horror, strategy, post apocalyptic, futuristic and a complex story. I love it! Of course, if this is not your thing, you ain't going to like it.

I loved this game. Loved the musical soundtrack. Loved the stories dramatic moments/climax/twist (although predictable)/ending. Loved discovering the best solution to delivering packages through your equipment, choice of vehicle, and desired route with help of devices. That was a welcome change of pace from games that really on violence to drive the gameplay. Anyone that says the game is just a Amazon simulator didn't allow themselves to take advantage of the tools given to them. Traversing the world was amazing along with the sountrack humming in the back ground. The boss battles were creative, but too easy. I was pleasantly surprised they made sense of the "baby in the pod" nonsense and the "monsters". But this game has flaws. Hideo Kojima loves to break the fourth wall, have characters verbalize/repeat a lot of exposition (like most Japanese games), and some wonky dialogue maily from a character named Amieli and poorly written female character in a junk yard. The biggest flaw is the people you deliver packages too are freaking holograms because everyone lives in bonkers and seem to hate the light. Cost cutting or not, it is very distracting and emotional flattening. Doesn't help that a lot of these people have dry personalities, weak voice acting, and meh back stories. Outside of that, this game was amazing, but flawed. Not because the gameplay, but due to certain sections and pacing of the story.

I really enjoyed the game, it has it's quirks like any Hideo Kojima game. If you enjoy exploring the great post apocalyptic outdoors, delivering packages, throwing said packages at enemies and running away from strange creatures...this game may be for you!

Fantastic game, with a fantastic story. A well built world with very polished mechanics. A complete experience on release and I’ve experienced almost no bugs since day one. If you liked Kojima games when he had free reign under Konami (before MGSV) you’ll like this.

It's a gorgeous game, a beautiful Kojima masterpiece, I didn't get to finish the game, I can only say what I know so far. It's cool, I had fun when I played, it can be slow at times but nothing unbearably long unless you make it for yourself.

Have always been a fan of Kojima and his new vision is big & bold! It's an experience that really makes you feel accomplishment in completing the tasks at hand. The graphics, writing and acting all are top notch. Looking forward to his next outing.

A good game to play with great gameplay, story and graphics

This game is very fun and immersive. The connection you make with other players without actually playing with them is very unique. I highly recommend this. Only get special edition if you are interested in the soundtrack, which is also outstanding.

Hideo at it again with the good stuff, highly recommended for that classic Kojima feel. Don't let all the nonsense of it being a "walking sim" put you off, it's so much more than that especially with the online community and amazing visuals.

An amazing game! Norman Reedus is quite entertaining, and the game does an excellent job in capturing all of his querky nuances. My daughter can’t stop playing this game. Kojima did it again! Highly recommended.

You'll love it or hate this game. It's delivering system game with a decent story. 40 hours or more to complete the game. The online side to this is to leave items behind to help other players even though you'll never come in contact with them. You can also pick their packages and deliver them to someone else or to there destination.

Great graphics and gameplay. You're Daryll (or whatever the character's actual name is) and you're running around, avoiding spooky things that have shown up and trying to save the human race. Not as easy as zombies, right DARYL????

It’s definitely a different experience to go through the entire journey of this game. It’s enjoyable, with a good soundtrack. But is it FUN? Not really sure about that. Beautiful looking game, but replayability is not high in my opinion. Not for everyone.

The game is absolutely fantastic in all aspects. However the Special Edition is not worth grabbing. If you are interested in a different edition then I HIGHLY recommend getting the Collector's Edition if it is still available.

death stranding is one of the best games on PS4. personally, i consider this game the best game of 2019. Hideo Kojima, creator the Metal Gear series, at his best.

Like the story and graphics. Challenging and fun.

Say what you will about this game but the creativity and new direction from Kojima is refreshing. It is good to see someone try something new and not be afraid of how it will be received. I enjoyed playing through this game as it was something I have never experienced and belongs in a genre of its own.

At first I was hesitant on preordering this game, but seeing the hype, I decided to go for it. Story starts out slow and strange, but soon things pick up, and in the end becomes a really good game. Highly recommend!

Another great PS4 exclusive. Death Stranding is everything I've come to expect from a Hideo Kojima game. Great characters, great narrative and great gameplay. Kojima just continues to create games you just immerse yourself into!
