A classic in 4k, say no more. But i will lol its a wonderful storyline, with action, suspense, and some very heartfelt moments

Saw this movie in the theater years ago. Recently bought a Panasonic 4K ultrahd Blu-ray player DP-UB820 to experience quality picture and sound like when I watched it first time in the theater. Wasn’t dissapointed.

This movie is truly a classic this movie started it all with mother nature takes its course and there s nothing we can do about it

Outstanding edition and improved picture over the previous Blu-ray edition. I am happy to own this for the 25th Anniversary and get the nice slipcover and digital copy. However, I wish the audio had been upgraded to Dolby Atmos 7.1. We get the English DTS 5.1. For a 1998 movie, it still holds up and looks great in 4K UHD! All special features are on the Blu-ray included here in the set. All the special effects from 1998 still look good in 4K. I do recommend!

The five stars is for the movie, not the presentation, which is a little dark. Anyway this is a decent representation of what would happen when a rock the size of Mt Everest heads our way. A mild one Anyway such a thing would be way worse. And why do these movies always name the savior ship Orion? Orion was the only nuclear powered ship designed (never built), it ran by throwing nuclear bombs out the back, using them to push the ship forward. Anyway this is a well made movie, worth having, the picture is a bit dark however.

Deep Impact looks incredible in 4K UHD. The picture is vibrant, holding to the natural 'film' quality of the original negative. James Horner's beautiful soundtrack is breathtaking in Dolby TrueHD. Deep Impact is a well written, well acted film, very much ahead of its time in terms of presenting an emotional arc for characters in a "disaster film." I highly recommend this release. You won't be disappointed.

I really enjoy watching this movie, and it was great in 4K with my surround sound! Not only does it have a really great cast with Morgan Freeman, Tea Leoni, Robert Duvall and so many more, but I believe that it is a great storyline. Deep Impact centers around a comet in direct path of earth. But it also centers around personal lives. This is where it is different that Armageddon that came out around the same time. I love both of these movies for different reasons. I highly recommend this to all action movie lovers.

Absolutely great movie. Definitely worth multiple watches.. the visuals were pretty good, certain scenes did suffer due to the lack of special effects packed in. The movie still looks stunning. DTS HD master audio 5.1 sounds strong. Wish they would add an Atmos track, but still sounded good.

This movie looks amazing in 4k! The Dolby Vision gives a large color palatte and beautiful, deep blacks. The only issue is that the blacks do suffer from some crushing.

I enjoy this movie even though it's overshadowed by another film that came out around the same time. This one is a little more believable. New 4K looks great!

Great disaster movie, would definitely recommend if you love “end of the world” type movies. Transfer is worth it over the bluray and the audio is awesome.

Pure popcorn flick but a nice catalog selection to own on 4K. Visually the 4K is not a big step up over the blu-ray but does offer a generally sharper image. At $19.99 a relatively good value.

good movie of coarse i like all those destruction end of the world movies the cgi was a bit bad on this but doesnt really make the movie that bad

Deep Impact is definitely a favorite of mine. I got super excited when it was announced that it was getting a 4k release. Happy!

This one definitely is a step up from my DVD copy . More enveloping in 4K .It draws you in a lot more, sound & picture are sharper .

Excellent movie with a great story line. Not many movies lof this type abd this is one of the best. Buy it you wont regret it.

The film has an excellent cast, performing a solid script via very good cinematography. The ending is utterly logical, dreadful and yet leaves hope, just not for everyone.

A cult classic one of the better disaster movies. Very good 4k transfer makes it look better than ever

Excellent movie superb acting and action. 4k is outstanding in picture and sound.

The sound and picture are great in 4K. The only downside to this was the digital code only works on Vudu and not iTunes.
