It works good with my Nexus 7 tablet most of the time; I had to have extra battery pack if running longer than an hour. Some times the app reboots for no apparent reasons. Recent upgrade makes me loose previous recording map history. Sometime it detects false fishes due to air bubbles or on the thermal-cline. Overall it shows the general area where fishes stays and the depth indicator helps. The surface temperature sensor is ok.

While I feel that fish finders are cheating when you are fishing, this product is great at locating fish.
I have used it from the bank of rivers, creeks, ponds and lakes and also off of my boat casting back into hard to reach areas.
The product has definitely helped increase my fish catching capabilities.

Useful application of technology makes fishing interesting. Won't put fish on your hook, but will definitely save you from wasting time fishing over a location with no fish below. Efficient use of iPhone WiFi minimizes equipment needed.
