I’m a long time Definitive fan so when it came time to replace the Paradigm Stylus 370 speakers in my backyard the Definitive AW6500 were the only choice for me. These produce great highs and mid-range but where they really shine is in the lower end. They produce bass that my my former outdoor speakers just couldn’t achieve especially when positioned under an awning where the passive radiator can reflect off a wall.

Very happy with these outdoor speakers. They are clear and play loud with OK bass (above average for an outdoor speaker). I originally though I would need 4 speakers for my patio, but 2 is more than enough. The construction quality is great, these are heavy and sturdy. The speaker wire terminals are also very strong and hold the speaker wire securely.

Amazing speakers! I have them situation pn a screened in porch near the screen portion (somewhat exposed to moisture and rain). I purchased these in 2020 and they still look brand new. I am very pleased with the quality of sound. They get loud and two is sufficient for my 550 sf porch as well as my entire backyard. These things jam!

I had been looking to add speakers to our patio for a little while to replace the small bluetooth speaker we were using and wow these things rock. Crystal clear highs and mids with just enough bass for great dynamic sound. I have not had these installed very long but I am impressed so far. They are a little on the larger size but I was fine with that, they can be mounted vertically or horizontally, the white ones can be painted as well.

At my old house we had Bose 251 that were great. When we moved the new owners wanted to keep the Bose speakers and I needed new speaker for my backyard. I was close to buying a new pair of Bose speakers but found the reviews on this speaker's little brother the AW5500. The consensus is that the AW5500 is better than the Bose251. I chose the bigger speaker AW6500 and the sound is wonderful and carries throughout the entire backyard without being noicy. The final sound comes down to what amplifier you are using and how much power you feed the speakers with.

Bes outside speakers. I herd a few and this is what sound is. To be outside listening to music with bass and crisp sound is nice. Great deal. Bestbuy rocks.you can listen before you buy.

Bought these on the recommendation of the staff at Best Buy and couldn't be more pleased. Great sound and range. They are well built and seem to hold up to the elements. I painted mine according to the included instructions and they look great. Really brought life to my pool area now that we have music. Paired these with the Sonos amp and now all my music is at my fingertips.

What else is there to say about these speakers and frankly any other product Definitive puts out. Top of the line. These speakers are really just awesome. They might cost a little more, but trust me when I say you get what you pay for. If you want durability, style and the best, well balanced sound quality, these should be a first choice.

Nice sounding outdoor speakers . Bought 3 . 1 of the speakers popped after 7 hrs of continued listening . I think it was just a defective speaker . These speakers give you clear sound , loud , and good bass . Make sure you have strong enough amp to power them

Had to order a second speaker due to no stock but well worth it. DEF tech speakers are one of the best sounding speakers. Paired with SVS streaming amp these are loud outside. Very nice, and what I would expect from them.

I bought these speakers for outdoor use on my patio. They sound great and mounting them was easy, i really like them. They carry good bass which is what I was looking for.

I really love these speakers. The sound is even better than I expected. Nice base for outside speaker. I wish had these for this past summer. Next summer the backyard will be rocking.

Hooked up these speakers to a Sonos Amp streaming’s Tidal in my patio. Great sound stage, base and clarity. I used foam padding between the stucco and the length of the mounting bracket to avoid any potential rattle. So far so good!

I researched these speakers extensively before my purchase and they have not disappointed. I could seriously light up multiple backyards with their sound. I consider myself an undercover audiophile and these speakers sound good when played at low volume as well as when turning them up. I'm powering these with my Sonos amp (100x2). If I could figure out how to get my shingles from vibrating I would probably play them a little louder. Nothing but pure clean quality sound. Buy without reservation!!

i have 4 aw5500 on my outdoor patio I replaced my sony center channel with aw6500 wow so I have 4 aw5500 1 aw6500 for a center channel pairs up real nice and has nice base sound. big sound at low level I am also running a 10 inch sony sub nice clean sound happy happy

I'm a big fan of DefTech, and these do not disappoint (unless your significant other does not let your turn them up). They have great bass when put under an eve, and all types of music sound great.

I bought these speakers not wanting to pay another DJ for my backyard pool party. I was amazed with the sound. I was worried about the bass and to my surprise they were bumping with the right placement.

I think these outdoor speakers are great for the money. They sound good, are easy to install and look good. Can't ask for anything more. Hooked them up to a sonos and an amp that I had laying around and couldn't be happier.

The BEST outdoor speakers out there. After buying and returning brands like Bose, Logan's and Polk finally found Definitive Technology. They blow the competition away with crisp sound and great bass. Turn them up and WOW.
