I love these bookshelf speakers the Definitive D11 are the best front bookshelf speakers I’ve ever had so far and they are powerful and have a good amount of bass on there own. Especially with the bass radiator on this of the speakers and the 6 1/2 in woofers with the BDSS drivers. I highly recommend these even as front speakers in your home theater system. They sound good and have good bass even in two channel music they pound even for bookshelf speakers. I’m happy I got them.

Well, I got lucky as I stumbled upon these at the right time! I was not really looking for them, but I ended up with them. I have had my eye on these for years, but I found something else instead. Compared to my other high-end speakers - which was just fine, these play slightly louder (only one decibel louder) and sound larger - almost like floor standers. At first, I did not like the sound because they sounded muddy, but after they opened up, THEN I heard all of the 'crisp and clear' sound that they advertised. These seem to be discontinued and they want to get rid of bookshelves (these) for the whole series, for some reason. Maybe people opted to buy these instead of the floor standers. No matter, I found them open box and I had to make sure that the quality was worth having, and they were. The only thing was, they were missing a grille and I cannot seem to find a replacement grille online, anywhere. I was still on the fence about keeping these until they opened up. I then had to find the matching center channel and compare that to my current one. That too sounds like a much larger speaker, so this whole set convinced me to stop searching for the flood models. For a minute, they did not output great sound - even with a sub, but one opened up and the receiver turned off and on the next day - it amazed! The other brand already had a strong low end and clean sound, and I would put these at 10-20% better than what I had, which IS marginal, but the larger presence was the main difference. I am glad that I waited 2 hours in the store while they got them! I was thinking that they were trying to wait me out so that I would leave and so that employees could keep them for themselves! They were worth the wait! Too bad BB did not have an open box for the center channel, so I ended up pay more than twice for that than I did for these!

The Sound Stage on these speakers are excellent, I find myself turning my head around to see if speakers back there, Bass is strong Mids is warm, the highs are perfect not to bright, just right.

This speaker is one of the best deals of 2021. The sound is accurate. Good bass and the tweeter is amazing.

When I picked these up at the store after ordering them on-line, I was very skeptical that they would be as good as the reviews said they would be. I was wrong: they're amazing. They're incredibly clear, deliver a wide range of sound, and create a deep stereo effect. At times, I feel like I'm listening to classical, jazz, or rock live. They're worth the price. Know that the top of the speaker is fabric and not solid. The styling of these speakers is a bit modern, with the shiny black finish, and chrome/silver band around the speaker (with the black fabric grill than is easy to attach over the front of the speaker - they are magnetic). The fit and finish are excellent. This is a high quality product.

I purchased these to go into bedroom converted to a pseudo den/office/guest room. With these speakers, placement is everything. The speakers put out ample bass but it takes a lot of fine tuning (placement adjustment in my room) to smooth it out. If you play them too loud the mid speaker will distort. I am used to higher-end tower speakers. Comparing (A/B) them to other speakers that I own I would say that for their size they put out a very nice soundstage.

Amazing clarity through all frequencies. The sound is amazingly full, considering their footprint. so overwhelmingly happy with this purchase. Powered by the Bluesound PowerNode. Also, have the Descend DN10 which increases the warmth from the lower end exquisitly.

These are solid all around. The sound reproduction is amazing. Nothing is muddled. Definitely happy about my purchase!

Already bought four d9 bookshelf speakers & a CS 9060 center. With the addition of four D11 speakers, I have Dolby Atmos. the D11 speakers on bottom & four D9 speakers on top, this set up hammers nice. nice to finish this set. I also have Def Techs for my Computer speakers & their outdoor speakers in my bathroom too. as past Best Buy purchases. and bought most at markdown prices too. A nice deal indeed.

Bought all Dev Tech for my remodeled home theater and am deeply impressed. These fronts go incredibly well with the Dev Tech center with subwoofer!
