With tbe proper configuration, and a knowledge of how a receiver send signal to this…balancing the volume and crossover was a breeze. And for an 8”…this thing is fantastic! Def Tech know what to do in this space and for $500 it was a no brainer.

Great sub woofer. Great sound and power! I recommend it.

Added it system which I have the old def tech SC 2000 so it was a close match. Looks good, small, and produces for the cost. Now with the new line of AV receivers that supports 4 subs with individual calibration will add another sub. SVS is supposed to be the go to sub woofer and their cost reflects it but looking for equipment that’s designed in 2022. New products just being released however in a sub not much to it that the DN8 doesn’t have.

Wow, just replaced D T's older 8" sub with their new Descend DN8 Sub. What an improvement, very good instructions, it blends in perfectly with the towers so the sound is full but not over powering, it really perks up my 7.1 system .

I purchased this item to replace a Polk speaker that was a part of a surround sound system in the new house I bought. Not long after moving in the Polk stopped working. I had purchased this brand speakers for my previous house. Excellent sound.

A fabulous replacement / upgrade from my defective / old SC2000. The bass sound in more fuller and deeper. Thoroughly enjoying this item.

The is one powerful little sub I have it connected to my Marantz system. This made my movies and music come alive. I was running a Klipsch for many years. This little sub blew it away.

This thing is amazing!! I have a older version thats lasted me 12 years and I loved it. I was super nervous it wouldn't live up to the old. It did not disappoint!

Subwoofer sounds amazing tech support is great but amplifier is garbage. Never in my life have i had replace a amplifier on a subwoofer 3 times within year and half. Sold the sub after replacing the amplifier the 3rd time. Never will buy a definitive technology subwoofer ever again.

I'm replacing a ProSub 1000, 10" sub with this 8"—and I'm incredibly impressed. The amount of bass this thing puts out into a room is absolutely incredible. If I didn't know it was an 8" I'd think it was a 12" with a much higher wattage. Couldn't be happier!

This is a nice subwoofer for the size & design. Real good bass for an 8” sub. This was an excellent upgrade from the older model ProSub 800 from Definitive Tec.

Very nice build quality. Good solid performance. Feel that it represents solid value for the price. Satisfied with purchase. Would have no problem making the same decision.

I bought this as a replacement for a supercube 2000, and I did not ever think it would be leaps and bounds better than the SC2000. There are bass frequencies i didn't know i could hear until i got this.
