projects sound very well and fits in smaller spaces!

The bass drivers on either end of this unit helps fill in where a subwoofer would be. Living in an appartment, we ge everything we need in sound quality from a three speaker set, with this one in the middle also providing the low end. This setup doesn't rattle the windows so the neighbors are'nt annoyed, yet we still enjoy ample sound quality in our small space.

I purchased a home entertainment center recently and needed a center speaker. I read many reviews of different brands of speakers before purchasing this speaker and I can say that it is a great center speaker and gives new life to the entertainment system. There were other speakers that cost more money available but I am glad I chose this one. It packs a lot of punch for a small speaker. It was a great buy.

The little speaker that can. Very impressed with the depth of sound and balance with my 5.2.4 system. I’m running a Onkyo 9.2 with full Definative setup. This was the first center speaker I’ve purchased and started upgrading everything starting with receiver and on to tower speakers etc. Really happy this speaker stands up to the task and doesn’t need to be upgraded.

This little center speaker actually had some good bass sounds in it. Experienced a little rattling during a car chase during a movie. Was pleasantly surprised! I have 2 bookcase speakers that go along with this one as I'm building my sound system. Works well for me. And since I bought it on sale, it works really well for me!

The sound from this speaker is very clear. I blends well with the 5-1 system.

I replaced my Boss center channel speaker with this center channel from Definitive Technology and what a difference. I am totally in pressed with the sound and quality. I will be replacing surround sound speaker's next using Definitive Technology surround sound speakers!

Speaker worked great! Wiring in the house wasn't as expected, so I went to Best Buy to find a center channel speaker. This one has great sound for it's compact size! Worked perfect!!

This speaker alone with subwoofer sound extremely clear, every raindrop, bird call, and whisper you will hear in the movie. I really appreciate the sound quality of this speaker. I have played all kinds of movies and music no distortion yet. Before I purchased the speaker I asked the salesman to turn off all the speakers except the center speaker and once I heard how clear it was the brand Definitive spoke for itself.

Had a Best Buy In-Home Advisor come for a free estimate and proposal for upgrading the surround sound in my great room. This is the center channel speaker that was in the proposal. (upgrade included new in- ceiling speakers. receiver and wireless subwoofer. Had everything programmed into a new universal remote. Sound is great for size.

Since moving to new house, I gave my old Paradigm system to my son. The new house has speakers in the ceiling I'm using as surrounds. The Def Tech Pro center 1000 is really working out well. I have it driven by a Denon AVR and backed up with a subwoofer. It is hard to believe the ProCenter only has 4.5 inch speakers because they have such a full sound. Does my setup have a full surround effect? Of course not. It just is working out well for TV and movie watching compaired to the TV speakers on my Panasonic plasma that was also purchased from Best Buy.

Disappointing voice sound clarity. Beautiful and seems to be well-made. I thought being sealed it would offer better accuracy. I compared this side by side at home against a less expensive Sony a much more expensive Martin Logan - both ported. Both of the other speakers offered much better clarity in conversation, which is the primary purpose of the center channel in home theater. I wound up returning the speaker. I calibrated the system for each center channel before testing and set the volume at the same level. It seems that others have a different experience, but this one just didn't work for me.

This thing rocks! Its tiny but packs a wallop, highly recommend.

Wow!!! Just WOW!! I hear everything I'm suppose to hear. This is replacing a Bic America CCS. That was a BIG speaker. Speech is crisp bass is great and not overpowering . Easy to set up. I live in a trinity so I have a 3.1 system. Deftech CC a pair of Deftech 1000 for left and right and an Onkyo sub that ll soon to be replaced with a Deftech sub.

Voices are now remarkably clear. Listening to music and watching movies and concerts are a far different experience. You have no idea what you are missing. After listening to several more expensive center channel speakers, I decided on this Definitive Tech model. It provides a terrific bang for the buck and equal or better quality when compared to more expensive speakers.
