This work out great when you are limited in space or if you are minimalist. The way they were engineer the sound reflects in many way making the speaker give you a bigger sound than expected out of such a small speaker.

Great for small spaces and exellente sound,kind of expensive but it is worth.

I replaced my Definitive Technology Mythos Gem XL surround speakers with the ProMonitor 1000 speakers and the sound difference was substantial. These make great surround speakers without spending a lot of money.

The sound is incredible . My setup is as a 3.1 system, so I use the Promon1000 as a front left and right. These speakers are the perfect size. I watch movies and listen to a variety of music.WOW!!! My living room is 12x25 the sound fills the room quite well. With my back to them you never know the are "satellite speakers".

I have these combined with procenter 2000 and promonitor 800's, with svs sub. They sound great with a sub!

Gave this product to my husband as a gift for Christmas. He only likes the best. As for me, I don't know the difference. I asked the salesmans advise and bought the set of speakers he recommended. They are now mounted on the wall in our living room. You need to buy the mounts separate. We enjoy listening to music. The clarity is wonderful.

Have been a fan of Definitive Technologies for a long time and this speaker only reinforces that. Have two of these set on small shelves as surrounds on a 5.1 system with Definitive full size fronts and center on a Denon receiver. These are bookshelf speakers so I do not have them set to push the low end frequencies but they really shine on the mids and highs which is most of what is mixed to those channels.

I purchased these as rear side speakers for my 5.1 surround system. They sound great. It is amazing how much sound these small speakers put out. I replaced some older Infinity speakers that were much larger and these put out more sound. Highly reccomended.

You cannot have a home theater system without having a good brand main quality bookshelf speakers. Definitive sound with these speakers are the best. Especially when you put them beside you in your listening the distinct sounds of all the background sound you wouldn't normally hear from your standard home theater system. The music clarity is wonderful.

I recently acquired a turntable and want a simple yet a good set up. I got this at best buy as an open box. No issue at all and i've been happy with the sound quality. I pair the speaker with Polk Audio PSW series Active Subwoofer for the extra bass. I don't know if the speaker itself is enough to bring out the sound. So my recommendation is to pair the speaker with a subwoofer.

I am using 4 pro monitors as surround speakers in a 7.1 These are fantastic speakers. Great clarity and good bass from a small (mid) speaker. I have them paired with pro monitor 2000 center, D9's as left/right and D10 sub. The whole system blends perfectly.

Using these solely for music as a second pair of stereo speakers in a phono set-up. Still in the break in period (about 3-4 hours in) and they have a little brightness much like Klipsch. They handle all the power I can throw at them, and still sound clean. Hoping they will warm up a bit, if not, I will introduce a sub into the equation. Very happy with these overall. Great value for the money.

I bought a pair of these to upgrade my front heights in my home theater system. They made a big difference. They may not be that big in size, but they are very big on their sound. I paired these up with a pair of 9040 towers, 9060 center and Pioneer Elite VSX-LX503 AV reciever. I know have the front soundstage sound I have always looked to have.

Bought but returned due a switch to Sonos hardware.

I replaced some large floor speakers with these and I could not be happier. Excellent sound. You will probably need a sub to go with these to hit the lows, but sound for music and home theater are fantastic! Also highly recommend the definitive wall mounts for these.

speakers have a very good sound spectrum. I compared a few speakers at the BestBuy sound. I mounted them on the wall in my living room with wall mounts (cost extra) which are made for this model. I have a relatively small room and the overall listening experience is very satisfying. The price of the speaker plus tax plus wall mount nears $300 which I find high by at least 50-100$.

These are just the right size, can take some horsepower and have the right specs we wanted for the front R & L speakers in our home audio/video 5.1.2 set up. Once dialed into the rest of our predominately Yamaha audio system, beautiful full sound right where you want it and need it. Great sound, great performance at a great price point.

This is my first purchase with Definitive speakers. The speaker produce the best effect as front speakers and you can feel the thunder in the basement. It is in compact in size but performance is phenomenal. Every penny is worth spending on this subwoofer.

I bought two of these speaker for my home theater surround system. I was so impressed with the speakers that I went back and bought two more. They added a new dimension to my theater experience. The highs were very crisp and opened up an upper sound dimension.
