My picky friend thought speakers this small in stature couldn't possibly sound good without a sub-woofer. He was wrong. These speakers have great balance & bass all by themselves!

I upgraded from the pro 600s big sound difference. my whole room is definitive. I upgrade every couple years as I save .I recommend these speakers for any surround system.

Bought these speakers for my surround sound system and they have not disappointed. Clear sound and can handle the highs and lows of an action movie that theater quality speakers.

What I want to say is,The Monitor Pro1000 from DefTech are awesome and do well for a mid size home theater used as mains, And what else I can say,Best Buy had them in stock.......Great price and service as Always.

Exchanged to these from 800's which were very good. These however do give the feeling of more emersion in my 9.1.2 home theatre. Used them as back surround.

Just got these installed today! Put out some great sound for it's size. Hoping the wife will like them as well!

I have had (2) sets of these DT 1000 speakers over the years and have come to love the sound , clarity, and music that flows out of them. For the money they are a great buy.

twice the sound as the 600's I have. Three 1000's in the front and center. 600's for the surrounds. I'm a happy guy!!!!!!

The speakers are really good as the sound is pretty clear. This is really good because I am hearing impaired and I don't need to turn it up real high to understand what is being said.

Did a ton of research before buying these speakers. Replacing my Klisph's Quintet III speakers. The build quality, specs and Definitive Technology reputation sold me on buying these.

Added these as two front speakers to the pro cinema package speaker set for my movie room. Bigger than the satellite speakers. Provides the right amount of power for the front set.

These speakers have terrific sound! So much better than the other surround speakers I was using! Paired up excellent with my DT center channel.

I'm using a pair of these speakers for a 1000sqft area in my CrossFit gym. For the price the sound is pretty good. They won't blow your head off, but they don't distort much even at very high volume. Plus, they're pretty nice looking speakers.

What a surprise these speakers have been - great sound and quality for the price plus they were on sale at time of purchase . . . very happy!
