My husband loves these speakers. Great purchase. He bought these to extend his already existing surround sound system.

I added these set of speakers to complete a 7.1 surround. I used them to the middle/sides of the room and they performed well. The rest of my speakers are also Definitive Technology so they complimented the overall system

These speakers were more expensive than I would normally spend for surround sound. Not top of the line expensive, but above average in my mind. The sound quality is very good. I am enjoying these speakers every day, having set them up as a 5.1 surround sound system. Blue Ray movies are incredible now, with the added sound quality. Music is much better as well. Overall, you pay a little more and you get a better experience. Its a fair price for what you get. The only negative is that the level of bass that can be handled by these speakers is minimal. You really need a separate subwoofer. The Geek Squad rep can set the signals so the bass goes where it can be handled.
