    If space is not an issue, go for Promonitor 1000 for surround duties. If space is a constraint, go for Promonitor 800. I ll choose pm1000s for fronts in a 5.1 setup in small to mid sized rooms. Def speakers are better than other cheap home theater in box speakers. You won't be disappointed.

    These are great rear speakers in my home theater set up. They give great music sound when I am using the as dual lefts and rights to the fronts for stereo music, and they really fill in the rear for surround sound movies.

    After purchase I realized the price was for ONE speaker not a set. I’m sure it’s a great speaker but it’s out of my price range as a set. I ended up purchasing a set of Klipsch for the price of of one of these, also from Best Buy, and I’m very pleased with them. Will return this speaker.
