    Nice compact sub

This little sub is compact but don't let the size fool you, it puts out a nice amount of bass. Of course it won't reach down to the lowest realms but for my smaller ,medium sized room it does a great job. I do however have two of these so I am running dual subs which in my opinion is definitely the way to go. This way gives a more even bass response through out the room. So if your looking for a compact sub like I was that can put out good bass and have a medium to small sized room I would definitely recommend this sub.

Had a Best Buy In-Home Advisor come for a free estimate and proposal for upgrading the surround sound in my great room. This is the Subwoofer that was in the proposal. (upgrade included new in- ceiling speakers. center channel speaker and receiver. Had everything programmed into a new universal remote. Subwoofer is small and does not take up much space but boy does it pack a wallop in adding bass to the action movie scenes.

The supercube 2000 puts out deep base. I replaced my 12" JBL with the Supercube after it went out on me. Went to Best Buy and the rep demonstrated several speakers for me including the Supercube 1000. As I was about to purchase the 1000, a different rep walked in and asked if I had listened to the 2000. He demonstrated it for me and I was sold. I couldn't belive so much base could come out of a small speaker in such a small box. I had never heard of the Supercube until then. Solid base, no rattle, good for movies, TV watching and music.

It's hard to describe how awesome the tight, rolling bass sounds coming from this small marvel of a subwoofer. I don't know how Definitive Technology managed to squeeze so much bass out of such a small for factor, but they have clearly done it. Despite the lack of size, there's plenty of punch thanks to an 8" main woofer coupled with the two passive radiators and all powered by a 650w digital amp. It seemless blends in with your other speakers and adds great punch in even larger rooms. Just buy it already... as you won't be disappointed.

Originally bought an ML Dynamo 500 but it had an irritating issue with audio pops when turning it on and off. Traded it in for the Supercube 2000 and couldn't be happier. Supercube is smaller, cheaper and sounds as good if not better IMO. Getting a ton of strong, clean bass in my 15' x 15' living room. Only issue was that it would go on an "adventure" across my tile floor. Probably moved about 6-8 inches during an average action movie. Solved that problem easily with a $30 Pyle acoustic pad.

Sooooo good after I bought my first one I went back to buy another! I’m using this with a marantz sr5013 and definitive 9040s and a 7.2 setup. These little guys pack a lot if power and play clean and can hit the low bass notes. I’m surprised how efficient they are in a room 20x14 feet with corner placements in corners of the room tremendous bass at mid volume. Jurassic park, Star Wars, a great sub for movies!

This is my second Definitive Technology - SuperCube that I've owned and both are great! The newer DEFTECH 2000 7-1/2" 650W Powered Subwoofer sounds great and has a very small footprint....which is a plus. It was very easy to hook up to my system and I've been enjoying if for months with no issue. It's a little punchy, but that can be addressed thru proper setup. Overall it's a very reliable SW.

I had some other manufacturers floor speakers and the cube was ok, as soon as I got two 9060 floor speakers from Definative Technologies the cube was useless for my bass frequency needs. Also not sure why but my Yamaha RX1060 or the cube stopped working after only a week. The Cube worked but some setting mysteriously changed so I returned the cube. For six hundred bucks in my view buy the nice floor speakers and the separate sub is unnecessary.

This little sub packs a mean punch! All of my friends could not believe that this sub was the only sub that I had in my media room! I loved this sub so much that My wife purchased another one for me for my birthday alone with a new receiver! So now I have two super cubes with Deep, clear and loud sound! Be ready for your wall decor to shake!

Exactly as advertised.. small footprint , fits in my entertainment cabinet that has mesh covered doors to hide your speakers. Don't be fooled by the small size, 650w of power will shake your house. Best setting is half volume and LFE on your receiver set to 80-90. Adjust your dbs to taste. I use this in a high ceiling great room so I set my subwoofer setting to about +8.

I love the compact size and the fact it delivers such a good bass response but I dont like the fact that you pretty much have to turn the bass knob a bit pass halfway to get the boom your looking for and since you have to do so the you can only turn your receiver up so much otherwise the sub cant handle the power and shuts off and my receiver is only 700 watts the sub is 650 watts max and I believe 300 rms

Purchased this unit because I was looking for more clear base to add to my home audio. The salesman didn't take much to talk me into it. He hooked it up, turned it on and I was sold. This little unit ended up being what I needed. I have about 800 sq. ft theatre room that I needed the sound to fill and my 100 watt Polk simply wasn't enough. This sub makes a world of difference from the paperbag sound of the Polk that didn't have enough power to handle what I was trying to do

I listened to several 10" subs in Best Buy's audio room in this price range and this one was the best by far. The 7.5" woofer really puts out the bass. I keep the volume on the speaker at less than halfway, otherwise it just overpowers the rest of the surround system. Forget about the low end $100-$300 entry level subs. Save up the cash and get this one!

This is a great little sub that can easily fill a medium sized room with deep bass. The sub is very "simple", there is just one RCA connection in the back with a volume knob. It would be nice to have a crossover adjustment knob, but I can live without it. This sub can really shake the floor if you crank it. The sound is deep without sounding boomy. I've always been happy with Definitive Technology products.

Purchased sub for a 9.2 theater system I own and it does not let you down. I hosted the Super Bowl at my place and everyone enjoyed the sound created through out the room. I own a Marantz and set up every speaker with the mic and when it came to the sub, I actually had to turn it down to the right levels. I reviewed A lot of subs and this guy was my top pick so don't hesitate to purchase. You won't be let down.

I purchased this subwoofer recently, i already knew that definitive technology was good, but this super cube is a BEAST! i hooked it up to my bowers & wilkins soundbar and all i can say is wow! No humming, or buzzing. The movies sound so thunderous and crisp, the super cube adjusts its automatically to each cable channel. This is definitely worth every penny i spent. I recommend this product to everybody. Absolute powerhouse.

Not only does the Supercube create great bass, it also contributes to the overall sound definition. The Supercube replaced an older Sub-woofer, and I was amazed at the results. It is easy to notice that you are not just hearing a "thud" but the multiple speakers that make up the Supercube increase the pitch and tonality of the media. My surround system never sounded so "surround." Highly recommend.

The subwoofer is excellent and doesn’t distort. I keep the volume just over half and that is plenty to feel the bass in your bones. I have to go around the room on initial setup (this is my second) and find things vibrating like baseboard heaters, blinds and pictures. Nothing a little foam insulation or 3M securing can’t fix.

I bought this to replace a Martin Logan dynamo 500 that I had problems with. I was nervous because of its size and price that it wouldn’t be as good. But my mind was changed when I heard it. It punchy for sure maybe not as boomy as the dynamo was. But man I threw the eagles live on the blue ray and it sounded great. Plenty of power and Small size. Great for small to medium sized room

Unfortunately, I went through 3 of these within 18 months. Each time, the subwoofer would blow and I would have to return it. This happened in two different homes and for no reason. It did have a great sound, though. However, all I wanted to do was give it back and get something else. Best Buy made me send in the blown one for a new one on three different occasions and finally issued me a store credit. Go with another brand.
