Laptop came as expected. The battery needs work...

Has a good 4k display and is plenty for school use

I really love my Dell Inspiron 7573; however, it is important to note that I did have two problems shortly after purchasing it. First, the SupportAssist feature stopped working, which required me to contact Dell Support for help. Second, the laptop suffers from an intermittent coil whine, which can be annoying at times.

Good build quality and premium materials used. Hinge feels sturdy. Screen is very "blue". Good for movies and video, but not easy on the eyes. Would not recommend for office or students. My unit has noticeable coil whine.

I was looking to navigate back to Windows from my Mac & wanted a laptop that had a big screen, fast processor, a good amount of storage & good battery life. This laptop has everything being a 2-in-1 (with the expensive stylus included,) stunning 4K clarity & facial recognition just adds to the aforementioned perks included in this laptop!

I bought this Laptop for my eldest who is about to go to college to study Engineering. He needed a powerful computer with good screen size. This Inspiron Offers the whole Package. He's very happy with It and creating already. It more expensive from what I expected but it has everything.

This computer will provide you with one surprise after another. To start with, startup takes less than 10 seconds from a cold start. Secondly, with facial recognition, you don't even need to enter a password to gain secure access. The icore I7, and solid state hard drive are extremely fast, and the video is fast, and exceptionally brilliant. Overall, this is an excellent computer for this price range.

I'm a technical helpdesk analyst by trade so translating the technical into layman's terms is something I've done for the last 40 years. With that being said, I'm pretty happy with the purchase of the Dell Inspiron 7573. Like most folks, I did a great deal of research about a new PC purchase. I needed to make sure that I knew WHAT I wanted from a laptop, and more importantly, WHY I wanted those features. Any time that I'm purchasing a laptop, I'm focusing on getting the latest technology that I can possibly afford. Technology moves swiftly and you can easily find yourself buying a unit that looked great in the store but within a couple of years the current technology has passed your PC by and it has less and less value. The HP Spectre 360 was my targeted PC but I couldn't afford it. It was sleek, beautiful, and had every kind of port and display attribute I was looking for...but the price point was too high. So I began looking around for any other PC's that had the internal components of the Spectre at a cheaper price point. At the time of this writing this Dell Inspiron 7573 is new and updated. I read the reviews of previous versions and the general complaints were dim display and poor battery life. So here's where I see the updates. This latest edition of the 7573 has a 4K display and the new NVIDIA GeForce MX130 graphics card. Thats a lot of fancy words to say that the display is much brighter, clear and colorful. No blurry images when you're watching anything in HD resolution or higher resolutions. The 4K display is nice, but at 15 inches, the human eye is rarely going to see a difference between 1080 and 4K, The brightness of this new display has greatly improved, so if that's due to the 4K technology, I salute it. The Intel i7 Gen 8 processor is super fast, running on the SSD. I think that 256GB SSD is too small for a laptop PC if you're planning on maintaining local storage of your data. The operating system takes up 87GB of that 256GB right from the start, so I recommend using the media card slot to add extra memory from an SD card or pop a high capacity thumb drive in a USB slot. Unless you're doing high levels graphics design or CAD types of applications, you're likely not going to use the complete capacity of the SSD in the first place, but be aware of how much storage you want before buying this particular unit. I love the variety of ports this unit has. It was the closest to the Spectre in that regard. The only port that this unit doesn't have is a Thunderbolt. You should be able to connect up just about any accessory you need to add. The battery is where I need to give this unit poor marks. It's quick to charge, which is nice, but the drain is quick too. You'll get about 4 hours with no power saver and about 7 hours with power saver settings maxxed out. If you're using this for a home based business or strictly within an office environment, it's not a big issue. If you're thinking about using this in a field oriented capacity where you're travelling often with it, it may not be the best choice. The pen is useful but it's not very user friendly. You'll have to play with it and determine for yourself if it has value or a place in your junk drawer. There's no sleeve or spot to store the pen on the laptop itself. If I'm missing an obvious storage port, someone please enlighten me. Overall, I give it 5 stars for its technical capabilities and the things you can do with 2 in 1 feature. I'm dropping it to 4 stars for average battery life and a pen that needs somewhere to go when its not being used.
