This one fits my simple requirements of a reasonable performance at a low price.

If you want to use this as a main monitor then I would consider saving a little more and getting you a nice quality panel or 1440p

Pros: -Low price -144Hz -Freesync -USB hub Cons: -TN Panel -Noticeable Ghosting at higher Framerates -Color reproduction even after calibrating -Low Contrast -Brightness If you don't care about the cons above, I would still say to save more money and get a monitor that is VA or IPS (preferably IPS). TN has the edge in terms of response times but the best IPS monitors are only a milisecond behind, bundled with the fact that IPS panels have better color reproduction and contrast.

Great basic HD monitors for home office

I have free-sync off because it says in the users manual through HDMI it can only achieve 144hz with free-sync off. in the guide it refers to a "refresh rate menu" I have looked through the built in menu using the buttons on the monitor and I looked through "open dell display manager" and can't find a "refresh rate menu" any tips on how to get 144hz?

Thanks for your review. Based on the information that you gave us about your monitor we'd suggest that you try the following:
1. Confirm that video card supports 144hz refresh rate
2. Download and install the latest drivers for video card
3. Set graphics card display settings to 1920 x 1080 resolution
4. Check in graphics card display settings for refresh rate settings and select 144hz after enabling monitor overclock
5. If 144hz is not present as an option, it may be advisable to try a DisplayPort cable if available to verify if 144hz can be achieved
a. If 144hz is not available with DisplayPort cable or HDMI, issue could be with graphics card. Contact technical support for further troubleshooting.
b. If no DisplayPort cable is available, try a different HDMI cable. If issues persists with another HDMI cable, contact technical support for further troubleshooting: http://dell.to/2sH7Qlm.

Upgraded to 2 monitors

This became primary and his lg became secondary. This is a great 144hz unit for 160 bucks on sale. The latest and the greatest... no but very customizable and very affordable.
