Quick refresh, immersive display, and plenty of inputs. This is one great display. To start it's the first curved display I've used and I can see the real draw with these things. They do make you feel like you're wrapped in the game and I imagine the feeling is only better the more of these things you link together. For gaming the curve works great and isn't something that'll detract from. The game in any way. Its only a slight curve so doesn't take a lot of getting used to. There are three inputs on this display, two HDMI and one display port, giving you plenty of options. One crazy addition in this box is an included display port cable. In an era where companies are removing headphones and charging bricks from packages, it's really nice to see fell including a high quality display port cable in the box. Huge plus in my opinion. Overall this is an incredible gaming monitor with almost instant response times and beautiful resolution and color quality. The build is out of this world, the included cables are awesome and the included stand is easy to adjust and has infinite heights. If you're looking for a high quality gaming monitor this should be at the top of your list.

I have been using flat panel monitors since they first came out and have never had a "curved" monitor. I have up to 27 inches of flat panel real estate on several monitors and have not found game play to be diminished one bit. With regard to this monitor, it is as good as usual Dell monitors though I was disappointed with the pixel density. I wear glasses and the monitor is still several feet in distance away from me and I kept noticing the dots on the screen. I had replaced a 24 inch dell flat panel monitor with this one and I saw no net improvement in the overall picture quality. Of note with this monitor is that it does appear to be more color true than the unit it replaced. In particular, the darker colors appeared to be more distinct in every game that I played than on the flat panel dell/alienware monitor that this replaced. Again, this is a purely subjective observation - just like the pixel viewing that seemed more prominent on this unit versus the prior one. As far as the "curved" nature. I'm not convinced at all that a monitor this small benefits at all from being curved. I felt no immersed into the games played with such a tiny monitor with a curve than I had with the flat panel one. As a moderate gamer (one who plays upon occasion - once a week), I have had no problem being immersed in a game after several minutes of play with a flat panel. The curved nature of this monitor seems more of a gimmick than of substance to me. I can certainly see that having three of these might create a better experience if one had the desk real estate (I do); I'd rather spend money on a much larger curved monitor if I wanted this "experience". My recommendation would be to buy a larger curved monitor that will truly give you a better viewing experience tapping into peripheral vision (which this monitor never did). Buy this if you have a tiny desk or a similar budget; but nothing about this monitor is so good as to choose it over a quality flat panel if you can buy that flat panel at a lower cost.

i got this monitor a month ago it works great it is an awesome monitor. I purchased this monitor for gaming and within a day i realized it wasnt preset onto 165 hz you have to manually do that it is really easy and it looks great and plays games awesome i 100 percent recommend this monitor to anyone who is a gamer and looking for a good monitor while it is pricey definitley get what you pay for.

I mainly bought this monitor because it is one of the most adjustable models on the market (tilt, rotation, and height adjustment) without sacrificing visual quality. I haven't played any games that really benefit from the curved screen yet, but I have used it for work and it doesn't feel any different from my old, flat monitor in that way.

Solid product, easy to set up and works well. Only issue is it constantly displays the frame rate in huge numbers in the top left corner and I cannot figure out how to remove it. Likely just a setting but quite annoying. It is a tad bit smaller than I expected as well, but I guess that’s my fault. Otherwise all good

I purchased this monitor from Dell directly because I had a coupon, but I am honestly regretting it a bit. It doesn't live up to my expectations and ended up disappointing me just as much as it impressed me. What I like: - good build quality - incredibly easy assembly - UI is simple and easy to navigate - the stand's base is small - a seriously underrated aspect of most monitors: the power button. this one is very nice What I don't like: - out of the box color calibration is very bad, and gamma tuning is needed - the preset modes (for color/contrast/brightness presets) aren't worth using - no G-Sync compatibility or certification, FreeSync only - blacks and very dark colors can show pretty bad backlight bleed/hot spots - fairly expensive for the specs and features, but not overpriced What ruins this monitor for me: - while ghosting isn't really something I notice with this monitor, the motion blur is genuinely HORRIBLE. regardless of what combination of settings I use, the motion blur plagues my web browsing and gameplay and is incredibly noticeable. I am seriously considering returning this monitor and to just stick with my previous monitor (MSI G24C) until I find a worthwhile upgrade

For my teenage sons “man cave”, 2nd monitor for gaming. He loves it, has used it daily for 6 weeks. Great deal during Holiday sales. Picture, speed, all excellent.
