The display is nominally rated higher resolution than the Apple Thunderbolt Display (TD) it replaced. However, I found the higher resolutions to be too small to use (which is OK), but the 2560x1440 resolution I use does not seem as crisp as the TD. The landscape/portrait rotation capability makes it easy to knock out of plumb. The display does not have built-in speakers which I would have preferred. Still, it checked most of the boxes and is reliable. I can easily connect it to a 2013 Macbook Pro, a 2017 Macbook, and various Raspberry Pi devices as needed. The built-in USB hub works well -- better than the TD's did. I would recommend to folks that don't require built-in speakers.

This one is a lot better than the lg 4k. The colors are a lot nicer. i would give this a 4.5 star for a begginner 4k. Everything is n ice and good materials used to build it. No problems. Maybe if it had fressync. lol

Have only had it hooked up for a few days, but looks good so far! Very little info comes with the monitor, so when you hook it up, if the computer does not see it, use the front panel buttons to make sure it is looking at the interface you are using!

This a great alternative to the more expensive "photographic" quality monitors for picture editing. The colors in the default profile are really darn right--or close enough.

Had to get used to the smaller text and icons but figured out how to increase the size and now it is just perfect. Great to have more monitor 'real estate'.

I bought three of these monitors to use with my developers. They love them. We we are using them with MacBook Pro laptops with no issues.

Don't waste your time checking other monitors, this is the best best buys carries, just get it. The monitor needs no stupid settings or time wasted you plug it in and it works like a charm at the max res and scanning rate, awesome quality!

I was skeptical of spending 4 times what a 'standard' monitor costs, but you definitely get what you pay for. My wife is a photographer and this monitor gives here the most true colors of any we have used before.

Got this to go with my 27" iMac as a 2nd monitor. After a little bit of adjusting got both displays at same clarity...looking great!

I have one of these at work and decided to get one as a second monitor at home for my iMac. This one is good because the height is adjustable. Image quality is great.

These 4k monitor are good and this is a good one. But two expensive.

I had it shipped to my house and it came defective. The HDMI port didn't work.

30 days in and this is a great monitor, very happy. Update your video drivers if this is your first 4K. Eye strain has been reduced.
