It is perfect but it doesn't charge my laptop. I hook up a monitor, speakers, etc. to the docking station and use a monitor and keyboard on my desk. It is easy to unplug and take the laptop with me.

It’s a great dock for any type of computer. However the only con about it is that for its price I can’t charge or maintain my computers battery. But I had all great tech to it to limit amount of wiring at my desk.

I purchased this Dell Docking Station because I needed a docking station for a laptop. But I ended up returning it because it did not have all of the ports that I really needed. It did not have enough HDMI ports. Really nice, but it was returned.

Purchased this after buying a dell laptop. Works great!! Even works with other brands of computers.

Great quality, Dell docks seem to be the best. You do have to download display link drivers with this dock, at least i did. I'm using this dock with a laptop that only has USB-C connections. This dock only has a usb 3.0 connection to connect to a laptop, so i purchased a usb 3.0 to usb-C adapter and it works great. FYI, this dock does not charge laptops like some others, or at least it didn't charge mine using the usb adapter. Great quality and would recommend.

Finally a dock that works. Needed something to accommodate my work laptop on my home dual monitor setup. Tried 2 options before landing on this. With others I had connectivity and problems installing drivers on a restricted computer. With this, no driver install needed, strictly plug and play for my dell laptop to newer LG dual screens. Couldn’t be happier!

Im not tech savy, so i had a hard time trying to figure what goes where. Finally figured it all out. Something so simple that i made it so complicated

I know I only gave it 4 stars, but its a great device and does what you need it to do. I only gave it 4 stars because I requested for one with a USB cord for charging the laptop at the same time to eliminate a power cord. I got two of these devices one has it and this one does not.. Other than that its a great device for the price.

I like this docking station as it has it own built in upgraded electric source unlike some of the other options. It worked fine the first time I used. I will be using it alot going forward.

I have multiple machines and I need different monitor configurations for different machines. It used to be a pain with my earlier docking station. With the Dell, it (I believe) associates each of my machines and gets back the preset configuration. This is awesome. Seamless! Love it

Great dock for my laptop. Works and always ready to go. Wish it had a usb c. Overall happy with the purchase.

Very useful and easy to connect when using multiple monitors.

Not as good as my other dell docking station. I would spend the additional money for usb-c connectivity and charging

Great product, worked as advertised. No issues, would buy this again.

The hub is built solid and has many ports. Easy setup and all. The problem I had was that anything wireless has too much delay going through the hub. My wireless keyboard is only 1 year old and it either skips letters or goes nuts and types the same letter over and over until you hit escape. My wireless mouse lags and it doesn't keep up with the custom buttons if you don't give it time in-between. The video end of it works fine with both a HDMI and standard VGA plug.

If you are looking two have two or three monitors display on top of your laptop, this is it. It works seamlessly the D3100 model will not always keep charging your laptop which is good for battery life. Plus you can connect your external hard drives and monitors. it can turn your laptop into a professional work station.
