It doesn't have big issues considering it's open box and definitely worth the price for open box if not brand new. The benchmarks were pretty similar to what was reported online and I get about 5-6 hrs of battery. The fans are a little fast unnecessarily sometimes but the temperatures don't exceed much as indicated by the Alienware suite provided. There were couple of windows start up issues but I think that was more because of the Linux that I dual booted than actual software issues within the laptop.

While the Nitro was more customizable, the raw power of this machine makes up for that. I've had this for a month so far with no issues!

Not in inventory

One store said they had one in stock. Turns out it was missing. Checked another location that also had one in stock. Turns out that was missing too. $1000 laptop lost in inventory at two locations?! We settled for an open box version of the same product. It's a good beginner gaming unit but the battery life is very poor. In restricted power settings it loses 1% battery life per minute.

Like the backlit keyboard with number pad. I don't use it for gaming though. I added Microsoft Office 365. Works well.

She absolutely loves how fast it is and the amount of storage space. She’ll now be able to play her games, do photo editing and other projects on one pc.

It's important for us to hear about inconsistencies in our products for consideration of future development. Below I have provided steps with the full article that can help you improve the battery performance of your laptop.
Here's the steps to help improve the battery performance of your laptop:
1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
2. On the options list, click Power Options.
3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 11 has a built in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.
a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
b) If running Cortana then type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
c) Turn Battery Saver On or Off.
d) Additional settings available via the Battery use and Battery saver settings links.
e) Battery use shows further info on apps and their power usage.
f) Battery Saver Settings screen allows you to customize further Battery Saver feature.

Good laptop considering its price

I bought this laptop to casually game and so far its performance is really good (I was able to play Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield without any problems).
