I purchased this open box and other than missing docs I cant tell. It runs everything so well. I purchased for school and light gaming but it runs MANY of the top games just fine.

Very pleased with my purchase of this Dell laptop. It has met all my requirements and expectations. The build is high quality and the keyboard is fantastic. The KB has the right feedback and feels solid and responsive. The screen is bright and detailed with good color depth. The speed is impressive and reboots are quick.

This laptop is amazing, we were able to purchase it at a reasonable price and it's worth every penny. Boot up and connectivity are seamless. As is, it ran our kids favorite STEAM games with minimal lag, after upgrading the RAM all of their games run smoothly and they can run all of their graphics on the max settings. Only con, Dell pushed some software called SmartByte, which caused the laptop to display a second wifi signal and it slowed down our internet speeds from over 200Mbps download speed and dropped it to under 10Mbps. After figuring out the issue and deleting SmartByte the laptop was back to tip top shape.

Fast , great graphics and vibrant colors. I love it and would recommend it .

I purchased this laptop on sale during a cyber Monday promotion. I replaced a Acer Nitro 5 that was a year old. There was not a big difference between the 2 laptops except for the graphics card. The Acer had a GTX1050 and this Dell has a GTX1660TI. Huge difference and worth the upgrade! Besides that, the Dell is noticeably thinner. Very pleased with this purchase!

Fast processor and SSD make for fast multimedia editing on the go.

Loved this computer. I’ve had it for over a year now. I do a lot of low stress gaming like CS:GO and needed something that I could take with me to school and double as my university computer. Never had an issue running anything I threw at it, I’ve recent purchased a gaming pc but still love using this one for on the go

The laptop is quite fast but the problem is turbo boost was enabled and it was causing temperature to rise up to 90 + Celsius. It caused my laptop to restart by itself. I disabled it. But the performance is great in this laptop. The wireless card is quite powerful. This laptop wife range is better than my desktop. I recommend disabling turbo boost in settings to prevent laptop from overheating.

runs fast, has great screen quality and good capacity for memory

Dell's redesign of their entry-level gaming laptop looks and feels sharp, and is definitely a step-up from the last model, though it's also gone up a bit in price, too. I suppose Dell realized that even entry-level gamers need decent specs, and generally don't mind paying for it. As is there are very few drawbacks to this version. It looks sharp right out of the box, but is also fairly heavy for a laptop, though the weight is in the normal range of a gaming laptop. The case is sleek, and easy to open. The screen looks really good and sharp, and the games I've played so far look fantastic. Having an SSD as its primary drive is also great, in that the laptop boots very fast (especially helpful after all the updates needed with windows). Unfortunately the SSD is also one of the drawbacks to this computer—512gb is just not very much. You’ll need to either be very choosy or add an external HD at some point. Games these days seem to average 50gb in size, and with the space the operating system takes up you’ll have room for 7, maybe 8 games depending. With the awesome graphics card there’s plenty you’ll want to try! Nvidia 1660ti card is one of the faster cards on the market now, and 6gb of dedicated video memory mean it will run most anything and it will look great. I played Doom, Wolfenstein II, Overwatch and Far Cry 5 to test it. All of them looked fantastic, responded fast and didn’t lag my system at all. Any slowdown I had seemed to be more a result of the memory limitations than anything. Fortunately, it’s not crazy expensive to double the memory in a laptop, so if you run into slowing issues that’s a great, cheap upgrade down the line. Also, whatever cooling Dell has in this machine seems to work well, as the laptop didn't ever get very hot. This laptop also has some very cool, well thought-out connections, including full and mini-HDMI ports, an SD card reader and a few USB connections. It has more connections than most laptops that I’ve seen. Other cool features include the wireless AC connection capability, which will give you speeds that match all but the fastest wired connections (though you can also use a wired connection too). The webcam is nice, and the speakers are fine, though you’ll probably want to use a headset anyway. Also every laptop should have a back-lit keyboard, so I was very happy to see that as a standard in Dell’s gaming laptops. Overall if you need a gaming laptop and don’t want to spend a ton of money then this is the one you want! It can play anything, is relatively portable, and has all the features you would want in an advanced laptop!

Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. I bought this laptop at $300 off, and with a 1660ti it was a deal. I’m able to play Monster Hunter World and Battlefront 2 with minor tweaking to the graphics settings. My only issue is the screen. It’s colors are rather dull and with a 60hz refresh rate. There is noticeable backlight bleeding in a few spots that’s annoying. Also the backlit keyboard only stays on for a minute if that with no option to adjust it. I apologize for typos as I’m on my phone (if you’re rolling your eyes like I do when I ready incoherent reviews)

It’s able to handle most games at optimal settings and perfomance wise for other applications is fairly good too.

I wanted a new laptop for beginning college and also to be able to do some gaming in spare time. This was a good fit to do both without breaking the bank.

performance is great processor is good graphics work great

The laptop runs quite well and the screen is excellent. Ive not had any issues running games like Warframe or similar titles. Granted this is a massive step up from my old Lenovo. The fans can get a bit loud, but it's not too much of a problem if you use headphones. It does have a plastic shell, but it feels quite sturdy.

i got this computer to be able o use my oculus quest as the rift with LINK.. i had no idea what a good pc really was like. i had always gotten just enough for what i needed. Everything in my life is easier, its so fast and so stable its crazy. It connects in a second and i guess a good word is SOLID.

Wanted a decent laptop to play the sims and this one is doing great. Fan runs quite hard but the sims is pretty big. Love the colored keyboard
