Good machine for every day some high-end computing, decently fast, and the touch screen is an added bonus at this price range. Could have given 5 stars, but my in-store experience wasn't very helpful as the salesperson seemed rather naive.

Lately, I have been wary of Dell laptops, however this item fit the need for processing power, hard drive, memory, and size. It is not as light as a Surface Laptop but it is darn close for less money. How well this little device lasts and continues to perform well is still unknown since I've only had it a couple of weeks. As with any device you purchase, running all of the manufacturers updates and Windows updates before starting your configuration and personalization is critical. I will update this review if things change.

Not bad, Overall it gets the job done. Its pretty fast, the touch screen doesn't lag which is definitely a plus. YouTube and streaming is smooth al the way around. My only complaints are it feels pretty cheap. I've had other dells and this is by far the flimsiest one. Others felt like metal and this feels like plastic. My other complaint would be that the fans are extremely loud like stupid loud. Loud to where i have taken the laptop apart and air dusted it because i thought it was dirty. But again this is just me, The laptop works great its gets the job Done. But for 900$ + i would want it to feel like it can handle a few bumps and bruises. Honestly if you don't mind the fans and or the brittleness I've had it for over a year and it still works amazing so there's that.

The main selling point for us in the laptop was the size and portability. It can easily be carried from room to room or stored in a backpack. The tablet feature made it easy to use in more relaxed environments like the couch. Startup time is great and overall this is a very speedy little laptop.

This laptop is full of awesomeness according to my 12 years old daughter in a way she can multitasking w/o a hustle, do her artsy creativity in all her anime drawings, surfing, watching & gaming while talking or chatting with her friends, very light in weight & perfect size for her taste.

Works amazingly! I've never had issues with Dell laptops. Entering BIOS to adjust certain templates or criteria was easier than ever! The touch screen synaptics work really well! The ability to modify is excellent! The price point is really good so it's the quality!

I purchased this item for my wife with 3 or 4 weeks ago, and at first, everything seemed fine until we installed an automatic update provided by Dell or Windows (I am not sure), and suddenly, the audio stopped working. Installing subsequent updates did not resolve the issue, so we had to exchange it for another one. The latter seems to working fine until now. It is fast, convenient, and very portable. Another issue that we encountered is when we first turned on our computer, it seemed that a voice was going to guide us on how to setup our computer. But that voice was a little vague on the instructions.

This small laptop has all the key features for those who are on the move and need fast access to their data. It powers up when you open it and has outstanding battery life - add the fact that the SSD gives you 512 GB and what more can you want at this price !!

I began my college career this year and desperately needed a laptop fast, and this one definitely delivers at the price point. I haven’t used the speakers much but it runs chrome pretty quick and the touchscreen makes doing certain types of work so much nicer!

Fast and easy to use. Can run hot - someone posted ways to minimize that. Also don’t flip it all the way - hinges not designed for that.

For simple business purposes the speed and form factor are great. Not cutting edge technology but proven workhorse and price point make this fine for running business applications.

Good value,, lightweight and fast. Quiet and good battery power. Bought it for working remotely and so far has not disappointed

I got this thing for Grad school, and I am very happy with it's performance so far. In fact, I think it might be a little more powerful than what I need! However, I always prefer getting something a bit more powerful than what I need in order to not struggle with it later one. Being a fan of the Surface Line, I originally wanted a Surface Pro, but I couldn't justify the price. I went in person to check out what they had, and I was very surprised with this Dell. The aluminum casing gives it a nice feel and weight, and it has a few more features than the Surface Pro but it's a few hundred dollars less. The selling point for me was having the HDMI port. I'd have to buy an adapter for a Surface, so it was great having it included here. My ONLY gripe is the illuminated keyboard. It's not a big deal, but when the keys are illuminated, the light around the keys is brighter than the actual letter, which makes it hard to read the letters when the room is dark. All you see is the light around the keys. I find this problematic when I am looking for a specific key function like volume, brightness, etc.

This is a lightweight laptop, screen size is small but that was what I was seeking. It has touchscreen, which I also like.

Need a computer for school and this beauty has everything you need. Touch screen, ease to use, very light and compact. You will not be disappointed
