Great laptop - amazing color
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only got to use this laptop for a week before it got stolen. But the week I used it was great. It is very sleek, and the blue color is gorgeous. The screen is a perfect size for regular everyday activities. I use it for school work mostly so I cannot speak to whether you can play games on it. But it was overall a great laptop for the price. My dog enjoyed chewing her bone next to it.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed this laptop for a new job, and it fulfills my needs perfectly. I received help from an associate who was very informative to help me make a decision on which laptop would be best for my needs, and after having it for a few weeks now, I know they pointed me in the right direction! A great price for a perfectly productive little workhorse. Love the backlit keyboard for when I'm working in bed.

Excellent portable, basic laptop for student
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good laptop when considering the price. Open box at my store for under $500. Be prepared to do lots of updates when you first startup the laptop. WiFi only out-of-the-box; no Ethernet port unless you get a separate USB dongle. Performs the basics very well, but don’t expect it to do any gaming. The case is all-aluminum, which is a nice feature at this price point. Runs quiet and cool. Only disappointment was the RAM is soldered on, so no way to upgrade from 8 GB. Not as disappointing was there is only one M.2 slot, and it’s occupied with the 512 GB drive. Really that’s plenty of storage to install Windows, Office, and store thousands of documents/photos. Battery easily lasts all day with screen set at about half brightness. Display is clear, WUXGA standard is a little better than 1080P, and it looks great on the 14” screen. 2-in-1 design is neat but not very practical. This one is either closed or open about 90 degrees. Chiclet keyboard is about as good as any other laptop keyboard. Backlighting has adjustable brightness. Easy login with fingerprint scanner integrated in the power button. Startup is 10 seconds or less.

Nice, but only 8gb these days??
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kind of love this, but at the same time don't totally recommend it. The display is beautiful, it's nice to type on, trackpad works great, speakers aren't bad. The CPU is good. My only issue is the memory. It's not expandable or replaceable. 8gb is terrible. Brand new it comes with so much bloatware from dell that it was using 7 of the 8gb of memory just sitting idle. I got all the updates, drivers, bios, etc and removed everything dell related and disabled a few windows bloatware bits and got it down to around 4.5gb used out of 8. I have the AMD ryzen 5 varient so I went to amd's website and got the autodownloader for all the amd drivers. There was a lot of updates. At least now there's some free memory for other apps. Other than the memory thing, it's a great design. I love the size and tablet mode is awesome. The SSD is changable fortunately. It comes with a smaller one, 2230 sized I believe, but looks like a 2280 would fit which is good news for when that day comes. I like things that are repairable and upgradable. This isn't that! But I got it open box at a great price and wanted it mostly for the tablet abilities and it's fantastic now that I got the memory issue under control. In my opinion in 2023/2024, no computer especially one of this price range should have less than 12gb of memory. It's good for a light user, but I'd recommend software debloating if you need to do much more than that. If you can afford it, go for the ryzen 7, 1tb ssd, 16gb model. MUCH better for the price difference. Especially if you're lucky enough to catch a sale or open box deal!

Very impressed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new laptop that could run my 1080 gopro video footage. I prefer the 14" size for ease of travel. This computer is fast enough for my needs, slim design, was priced reasonably, and even has a touchscreen. Pretty cool to have a 14" tablet and a laptop at this price. (it was on sale). Only con, if you can call it one, is the screen is highly reflective. That can easily be fixed with a screen protector. Build quality seems to be pretty sturdy.

One TB of cloud storage included. Fast LT with enough power for home office. Would have liked extra USB port but still very functional. Price was amazing at $495 plus SW. Can be used as note pad as well, nice feature.!

Pretty Good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, this seems good. I'm going to use this as a back up laptop to my original. It's a bit heavier than what I've had in the last few years. I like that it's a pretty reasonable quality for the price.
