The Inspiron 14 7000 2 in 1 meets all my needs with sufficient processing and storage. I have not yet used it as a tablet so can't comment on that feature. The screen size is smaller than my last laptop but I have not found this be an issue. The speaker quality I find to be a bit of an issue, as I would like louder sound.

I've never been a huge fan of 2 in 1 laptop designs, but Dell nails just about everything with this Inspiron 7000. I've worked with computers, laptops and electronics for 20 years professionally and as a hobby, so I've seen all sorts of product fads come and go during that time. I for sure thought 2 in 1's were going to go extinct several times during their releases over the years, but I think we're at a point where they are here to stay and maybe that's for the better. Dell really gets just about everything right with this 2 in 1. It has a nice, responsive screen that works very well as a touch screen as well as a conventional screen. The build quality of this laptop is excellent, especially at it's expected price point. The hinges (always a concern on a 2 in 1) seem solid and look like they'll take a few falls and a whole lot of folding back and forth. Keys have a nice feel to them and are backlit for those that like that. Audio is clear, microphone work well and the camera is decent as well (although it doesn't work for Windows Hello sign in). The Ryzen 7 paired with 16gb of RAM is no slouch and is actually capable of some light gaming even. The 512gb SSD is both spacious and quick, you'll be up and running in just a few seconds from a cold boot. Windows 10 is Windows 10...so no surprises there. Battery life for this is pretty typical, I'd get about 3 hours on a charge doing your typical office work on it. My 2 only gripes with this Inspiron 2 in 1 is the weight of the unit, which makes it tough to use as a tablet for any extended period of time and the screen brightness. I feel like the screen could definitely be a bit brighter and it only seems to begin to get to it's full potential at the highest brightness level. So my breakdown is as follows: Pros: Solid build quality Touch screen is responsive Keyboard feels good to type on Color is beautiful (seriously, it's beautiful) Specs make for a very fast computer Cons: Weight (coming in at almost 4lbs makes it a bit hefty) Screen could definitely be a bit brighter to offset the reflective display Built in webcam doesn't work with Windows Hello..why not? TL;DR version is that this is a fantastic 2 in 1 and a steal if you find it at the right price. There's a whole lot of hardware packed into it and if you can deal with it being a little on the chunky side then you should fall in love with this Inspiron 7000 2 in 1.

Great laptop, high speed. The color is really cool, somewhere between gold and burnt orange. I wish it came with a stylus but I purchased the bamboo one and it worked well with it. The back lit key board is nice. The key board felt a bit gritty to me personally. So I ended up returning it for a different laptop, but overall it was a great machine
