I would give it 5 stars but it doesn't read my fingerprints to unlock it 90% of the time. It also sometimes takes a few seconds to recognize that I am trying to wake it. Like I can't just open it and it light up, I have to press the wake button multiple times. It also is touch and go with the touchscreen. Sometimes it works fine and other times it doesn't want to work at all. I am hoping this isn't an indication that it is going to go out on me soon. I bought a screen protector for it as soon as I got it so it wouldn't get scratched up or ruined. So I'm it is just a bug that needs to be fixed and not a cheap screen that is going to cost me an entire computer.

This laptop was recommended by a Best Buy associate, and we are so extremely pleased with it. We picked it up for our teen daughter who wanted something she could game on and do arts & graphics. We wanted something good for school. This was definitely the whole enchilada!

I love this computer! It does everything that I expected and more. The only complaint I have is the keyboard is very sensitive, sometimes the cursor moves on its own.

Excellent computer, I have had it for almost a year and it is excellent, I have once had a problem with the wifi driver, but I contacted technical support, we formatted it and it was solved, apart from that, I am super happy with this computer

Using for online school for high schooler. The device is fast and was easy to set up. Camera is good. No problems thus far. Interfaces our wireless printer easily. It was a different color than what she wanted, but with decals she has adjusted. Wish it had more than 1 color option.

Great laptop. It boots quickly and runs very fast. The keyboard is backlit which really helps. The SSD is fast and seems reliable. The screen is bright and is good for long sessions. I am very pleased with this laptop

Yep you heard me right! The quality of this laptop supersedes Dells past. I am impressed by the craftsman ship has taken with this model and the Sandstorm color. Definitely on par with the standards of today. The screen is my favorite part. When you open up the screen it tilts the body of the laptop up which is really cool. It also keeps tilting all the way back (360 degrees) so you can use this in tablet mode which is way cool. I recommend looking at the hinges while you do this because of the cool motion it makes. The keyboard is great, lighted and on par with what I would expect and definitely carries the quality with the rest of the Inspiron laptop. The power button is also a finger print scanner to unlock your computer. Very easy to use and its hidden because it just looks like a normal power button so it doesn’t look like a random square or rectangle on the body of your laptop. The webcam also has a sliding shield so you can cover the webcam when not in use. The slider is very small so it doesn’t disturb the elegance of this laptop and is a great extra hidden feature. In my opinion I rather have a kill switch on the side of the body of the laptop so there’s absolutely no power going to it (like other brands) but this is still a great security feature. The laptop is ready to go for the current and the future with a AMD Ryzen 7 4700u processor (eight cores) which is on equivalent to a intel i7. This processor is designed for thin laptops such as this dell. In addition the laptop has 16gb of ram (future proofing) and had AMD inter grated graphics. The screen quality is sharp and seems to be color accurate. The full HD screen is also touch for when you use it in tablet mode. The webcam is an industry standard 720p which could be 1080p but not needed. 512gb solid state hard drive for speed and storage connivence. This laptop is also equipped with WiFi 6 a new technology that is out but will be coming more popular (like i said future proofing). The most important part! PORTS! Plenty for what you need in todays world and includes: SD card reader Two (2) USB Type A 3.0 SS Headphone Jack USB type C/Thunderbolt HDMI out Bluetooth (internal) Overall I highly recommend this laptop compared to what’s available in this price range. I would also recommend there next model down which is identical with RYZEN 5 if you are more on a budget.

Very happy with this new Dell computer. I had a Dell before this one and it lasted 11 years. I love the new features and lightweight design . I toyed with the idea of buying other brands but when I compared quality, easy of use and price I choose Dell.

I am extremely satisfied with the Dell Laptop I purchased. I particularly enjoy the Alexa feature. I listen to music while I am on the computer. Dell has been very helpful and I am happy that I chose that brand. Overall, I would recommend this laptop.

I got it on sale and it got to my house quickly, as a first time buyer I'm very pleased with it,run music well and gamed pretty smooth ,the volume could be better but as far as the performance its great

I wanted a computer to not only use for school and word processing, but something that could be fun too. I love that this computer is slim, can handle all sorts of tabs running things at once, and was available in a color other than boring silver or black.

Perfect laptop for multiple uses. Used it to create, edit, browse, play, watch and etc. Responds quickly. Both ways either keyboard/touchpad or touchscreen inputting are great. Tablet or laptop method are superb. Highly recommend.

The battery could use just a tad more juice! The screen is not bad by far but the screen does not get all that bright especially for direct sunlight. All around great laptop especially for college!

This is a great laptop and works really great. I own this laptop for more than an year and found no major issues as of now and hope it will continue the way it is working.

The salesperson at Best Buy gave me great information and advice to my questions. I had an HP and thought I wanted to change to a Dell. He was knowledgeable about both companies and gave me pros and cons and helped me make a good decision.

Wifi connection drops abruptly. When googled for the solution, I found that the Wifi adapter that came with this machine has known problems. Otherwise, it’s a decent laptop.

Ryzen 7 is a beast, especially after adding another 16g of memory in dual channels. Believe it or not, this thing will handle some gaming and handles productivity programs flawlessly. Got this on sale and couldn’t be happier.

I love this laptop. Use it all the time. Easy to upgrade, got it up to 2tb hard drive and 32gb ram. It’s perfect. I was however really disappointed to come back here to buy another one and found the price went up $130!!

very slick style and is nice as our apple or microsoft laptops but with more power and speed. we did have a hardware failure to quickly fixed under warranty, no questions asked. q
