Great so far! I got this to run a few pieces of drawing software and its running pretty smoothly.

I recently purchased the dell inspiron. I loved it at first sight and all the features it included. Unfortunately some weeks later it started glitching. Sometimes I'm in a tab and then all of sudden I'm back to my home page. Other times it saids the charger isn't the right one for the laptop (what the heck?). And other times it shuts down to restart saying there are issues or errors that need to be fixed. Its been lagging something fierce. Even my old chromebook functions better than this and I had it for almost a year. And for some reason the sound for the headphones sound gargled with static. I even doubled check to make sure it wasn't my headphones. For those who put great reviews they got a great product. Unfortunately i have a defect and now I have to take it back. I'll be doing an exchange. Don't get discouraged by the review, this is a great laptop. Just be careful about the defective ones and pay attention to how it works before the return date.

it is easy to use. screen is a little dark on sometimes need to a just setting

16 gb version is the way to go, but overall is a solid computer and the 8 core 4700u is a solid CPU

This is a really nice laptop, the Dell Inspiron 14 7000 2-in-1, 14" Touch-Screen Laptop. Light-weight? You bet ... only 4 lbs!!! Setup was incredibly easy ... I don't know if that's because all manufacturers are doing it this way -or- if specific to DELL. It's the first time I've owned a DELL computer - desktop OR laptop! A couple of decades ago, an employer at the time provided DELL for the desktop. Based on that past-experience (...which wasn't good at the time...) I was reluctant to get this DELL, but I now have a better appreciation for DELL. I got this Touch-Screen DELL Laptop because it was a great price and I liked the fact of it being a 2-in-1. The 2-in-1 AND touch-screen will make it far easier to travel with vs my large 17" HP laptop, which is a bit heavy. Contributing to the less weight versus my other laptops, is the SSD drive. This DELL is the first computer I've owned with an SSD, so I'm anxious to see how it performs over time. This DELL operates very nicely. I hate touch-pads, so I added a wireless mouse to make it easier for me to navigate and use the applications. I accessed a wireless HP printer from the DELL and they worked well together. And the MS Office apps functioned properly and no problem switching back and forth between various apps. The keyboard works real well and I've had no problems with it. The processor speed is quick utilizing the latest chip technology. The screen resolution is great. I need to use the touch-screen more with my floor plan app to become more proficient, but so far, it works well. Also, getting use to "writing on the screen" is something I need to get used to; always afraid of ruining the surface! I WOULD recommend this touch-screen laptop to anyone looking for a light-weight, versatile system to take on the road OR to use at home, either in the office or on the couch!

The keypad is overly sensitive so keep your palms raised when typing on the keyboard!

Great laptop for working from home where I have to be on video calls often and doing multiple things at once.
