We purchased this laptop for a second computer for the house. It has everything we need. I typically get the Intel processor, but they are much more expensive. So far, the AMD is fast.

My Toshiba laptop died and in the time of Covid, going to Best Buy to check out all on display was out of the question so I did my shopping online only and had it delivered. This Dell received good reviews so I went with it. The setup was easy enough except for the fingerprint scanner. I can't get that to work and when I called Dell for some technical support I could not understand the rep trying to help me(please get help from the USA). I put that on the backburner for now. The other thing I have noticed is that it is loud! Even in sleep mode the fan works so I have to turn it off all the time to get rid of that background noise. Otherwise it is fine.

My first AMD purchase, so getting a bit used to it. The touch screen is awesome, but the screen felt a bit smaller I guess cuz I am used to 15.6 or 17 inch screens at work.
Otherwise it runs pretty smooth, I love the screen and the machine is super lightweight.

Super happy I purchased this computer. I've been going back and forth between another dell and an asus vivobook or send book. I'm an interior design student and business owner and I do a lot on my other dell but it's super bulky I wanted something sleek but also with enough speed and memory I can do my work and take it with me. I found this laptop on a deal for presidents day cheaper than the asus I was looking at with better features and specs so I instantly purchased. I don't regret it one bit. It runs great, looks beautiful and is compact enough for travel. Only thing I'm not a fan of if the fingerprint reader that's why I took off a star. But I love the ryzen compared to the intel in my other dell. Great deal would definitely purchase again

Really like the 14” size for portability; the speed of start-up and shut-down; and the battery life for everyday tasks.
The backlit keys on the dark bronze keypad make them easy to see, but because the keyboard is totally flat and the spacing is tight, it is easy to hit the wrong keys when typing. So far this is the biggest drawback.
Metal case and sleek design are a plus.
I haven’t had it long enough to use all of the features, and I know it’s a matter of getting used to the key features, but so far I am happy with the selection I made.

My daughter needed a laptop for online learning and she likes this one. It's easy to carry around, it's touch screen, and she was fine without the numeric keypad on the right. No complaints from her so far.

Great quality build, fast motor and 16 gb ram along with a 512 SSD makes for a very fast PC. Also has great battery life. Screen is very good, and the ONLY thing is the screen could be brighter. Boots in 12 seconds and I could not be more pleased. AMD is kicking butt.
Charges fast. Long battery life. This is a very fine PC and if you pick it up on sale, wow. Sound is decent. 14 inch size is perfect for most uses.

I have a 17in laptop, but needed a smaller, mobile laptop that I can take with me to work and everywhere else. I love this little powerful Dell laptop. This is my first Dell computer and highly recommend it.

Hands down the best upgradeable PC that used in a long time. I did upgrade the sad, to 1tb, and the memory From 16 to 32. Coming from using macs for the last 16 years it was fun using a product that allow me to upgrade it.it does play light games pretty well, and download really fast. The flip screen! Touch screens are a great feature. The only con for the price, is the small less then 14 inch screen. Battery life can range from 2 hours to 9. Depends on your settling. I Would but again! I was like “ what in the Dell is going on” this is a pretty good PC! By apple!

So far, I have been very happy with this laptop. It comes with Ryzen 7 3rd gen and is SSD, so it's both fast and quiet. Nice weight and keyboard feel too, and the 14" screen size suits my needs perfectly. One thing that I was wish different were the hinges though - they stick out of the computer when you open up the laptop. The computer has to sit on them when open, which I don't imagine is a durable physical design. Small things like additional USB ports beyond the two would have been nice, and I think the trackpad could be a bit easier to click with. All things considered though, this computer is an excellent deal as it's under $1,000, and it has served my needs as a grad student and music producer. Great, fast laptop overall - highly recommend!

First off the computer is unreal, It is so smooth and elegant. It is top of the line and extremely fast at doing everything i need it to due which is; running software programs, browsing, email and other work related tasks. Second, but not really second was the price. I shopped out laptops with similar specs and this one is in a league of its own. No other laptops with these specs come close, and its a Dell! The Best Buy closest to me didn't have it in stock when i went and the rep wasn’t familiar with the deal but after i showed him he said nothing he has seen compares to it. I had the option to order one or drive 10-15 minutes to pick it up at the next closest store, needless to say, i wasn't letting it get away. I’m a very happy camper!

I am keeping this review short. I bought this after I have been unhappy with Lenovo IdeaPad 5. So far so good. I love Ryzen lineup of processors. This laptop has a feel that justifies its price. The keyboard is amazing to type on. I have no complaints about the hardware.
On the software side. It is having one or the other problems with firmware. After the latest firmware update, some problems went away but when hdmi is connected while the PC is on, it reboots occasionally. Looks like Dell engineers and QA is not doing a good job with the MOBO BIOS code.
I still kept the PC hoping the software side improves in future.

There were a few glitches with delivery, but it was free, and they delivered further than they promised free delivery for.
The computer came safe and sound, and I could track it the whole time. Just had trouble finding anyone to contact or a physical location to inquire at.
The computer works like a dream. I'm updating from a chromebook, so this thing is leaps and bounds more capable and flexible than mine was. Zoom classes are smooth sailing, and I am finding the fold and touchscreen features unexpectedly handy.
This was the only computer I could find at a decent price with as much RAM, a ryzen core, and SSD that I wanted for basic music production and smooth operation. I haven't had it for a month yet, so I'll update this if things change.

Great laptop at a reasonable price. It’s very fast for normal application. I have also not noticed any loud fan noises so far which is a great improvement from my 10 year old Dell XPS. I would definitely recommend!

Pretty happy. It's fast enough and still working well over a year later. Don't really have a need for the touch screen but thought it'd be a fun option to have. My only complaint is the wifi driver had frequent issues for the first 6 months. I had to download and update for it on a different computer then use a flash drive to install a few times before wifi would work again. This happened every month. Luckily it has been on a good streak lately.
