Customers frequently mention the responsive touchscreen, smooth performance, and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its affordability and lightweight design, making it suitable for portability. However, some users experienced challenges with the pre-installed operating system mode and the lack of a USB-C port. A few also noted that the laptop can get warm during use.

We have used these Del Inspiron laptops for our remote Call Center employees. They are a great price and reliable. We have had a few in circulation for years now. Dell makes a solid product that we are rely on. The graphics and speed are sufficient for the type of online programs run at our Call Center. Nothing too fancy but works for us.

Dell Inspiron has been around for decades, and I see them as very reliable. It's not business or gaming class, but 90% of what we do is "light computing", and this is a computer that should last for years, without being obsolete. Small footprint, light weight, and very fast, with all the ports you'll need.

I wanted to give 3 stars, however that isn't fair to Dell. It was my lack of research that makes me less happy than I wanted to be. A quick search told me this laptop was compatible with a Dell Active Pen. It is what I was looking for without really looking. I wanted it for my art. However, with that aside, this is a good little computer. It is quick, everything works well. All in all, I am pretty happy with it

This laptop is just what we needed. It works great and has been very easy to set up. So far, it has been very easy to use. The screen is the perfect size. I really like that it has a numbers keypad on the right.

Solid base model computer

Solid base model computer. The specs of this computer make it perfect for web browsing and data entry. It won't be useful for any type of gaming, but makes for a solid home or light-use work computer. The touch screen is a nice added feature but isn't something I use. The computer has about double the storage of most models in this price range which is a nice bonus. The i5 processor is right down the middle in terms of performance, so, again, this is perfect for the use cases I previously mentioned.

Overall, I would not recommend this laptop. The hinges on the side have broken 2 times! They broke from me simply opening the laptop. It cost me 250$ to fix it the first time and I decided to buy a differnt laptop the second time and go with a different brand because it would have cost almost as much as I spent originally on the laptop. It has good picture and is easy to use, but it is not made well and can break easy. Also, as time went on the battery life decreased significantly.

Touchscreen is responsive. Battery is decent. I maybe get a good 7-8 hours of continuous work on a full charge. It will do all the basic things. If youre a content creator, I suggest get intel 7 or higher. Get out of S mode!

Dell Inspiron 15 3520 - Basic Laptop w/o the Frill

This laptop replaces an older Dell model laptop. The computer performs adequately enough - it's the software from Microsoft that is the main hangup (i.e. - Windows 11 & Office 2021). We have no issues as yet with the computer. However, Windows 11 and the Home/Student edition of Office 2021 have caused problems. Since Microsoft saw fit to remove the email program Outlook from this version, we've had to resort to the basic email program from our online provider. Their email service is not on the same level of convenience as was Outlook 2007. The other problem is with Windows 11 and it trying to sync everything in the world which we DON'T want. Since there is no written documentation with this computer (other than their ridiculous 1-page picture sheet of the computer) trying to navigate a new OS is a hair puller at best. The Outlook mail service SHOULD be part of all MS office products, not just the more expensive versions. Lastly, written documentation regarding the operation & maintenance, etc. should be provided with all computers - period.

Nice inexpensive laptop that's perfect for home use. Also appreciate that there's not a ton of bloatware pre-installed. Does the job and would highly recommend. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck. Touchscreen is a nice "touch" as well!

The Dell Inspiron 15 has been a fantastic investment for my home business. It's incredibly cost-effective, and I even managed to get it on sale, so we ended up buying two! It’s perfect for general internet use, printing, and light photo editing—everything we need for our daily operations. The laptop boots up quickly and runs seamlessly with Windows 11, plus it handles all the apps we rely on without a hitch. Would have been great if the keyboard is back lit but the touchscreen makes up for it, I guess. A great, affordable option for anyone needing reliable performance without breaking the bank!

For the price, it’s good. The touchscreen is sensitive enough and very light of the whole laptop, but the quality looks like cheap, hope it last longer than our office thought. The battery cannot last long, but going to the internet is fast enough

Good for the price. Can play WoW on it if I choose, but this is more for work and surfs the internet, runs adobe, 3d printer slicers, and microsoft programs fine (usually with multiple of these open at a time.

The Dell Inspiron 15 is light weight, fast, and has smooth keystrokes. I am very satisfied with it. I wish that it still had the extra capacity to play cd's and dvd's so that I wouldn't have to attach another piece of equipment to it.
