This laptop performance is outstanding. The quality in sound from the speakers are good and if your a Netflix binge watched you will fall in love with the video display.

This is great computer! It has enough memory, a great video card, and all the bells a whistle I need to do any with it. I love this computer!!

This laptop works well editing high-end graphic files in Photoshop with no lag or hesitation. The files tested were close to 1GB in size and the computer worked flawlessly for over 5 hours working on one file. It also worked well editing a 4K video in Vegas Video Editing Software. It had trouble scrubbing a 4K video but my high-end desktop also has the same problem (we usually render smaller proxy files for editing). It worked well on a 1080p video file with no problems scrubbing the video in Vegas. It rendered the file very quickly without tasking the computer at all. The 4K 4 minute video rendered in less than 2 minutes which is comparable to my New high-end desktop. The laptop works well when cruising the internet, dealing with the popup ads without hesitation and playing video files with no problems. It took a little while to get use to the navigation pad with the right and left mouse clicks in the corners. But the learning curve was short, and it is quite easy to navigate. The stylus pen is conveniently stored in a little magnetic notch above the keyboard. The Stylus pen is easy to use and accurate; it does require a battery which is included. The keyboard has a backlight that turns itself on at a touch and turns off when not in use. Tablet mode is acceptable even though it is heavy for a tablet because of its size and laptop internal works. Cinema stream works acceptably on wireless even when streaming at 4k – no stuttering or buffering, but I also imagine it can vary according to the wifi connection. I love the way to computer turns on when you lift the lid – makes it so easy, and you don’t have to remember where to turn it on. The biometric scanning was easy to use and took no time at all to record my fingerprints. The tech side of things: • Some driver issues – USB and fingerprint driver failures – seems to resolve after going to the Dell support website to update BIOS and drivers. • The Dell update software even after loading the updated version off Dell website would go out and check and say there are no updates found. And yet logging in on Dell support web site with device number showed a number of critical and suggested updates. • Updated software: one has to keep track of what you updated as the Dell support web site doesn’t seem to recognize all of the updates that were done even after it scans your computer for your computers number and driver /software versions. • For a laptop (all laptops are designed for Battery savings vs Power of applications or computer power) this thing is fast with the installed specs of Intel Core i7 - 16GB RAM- Nividia GeForce MX250 – M2 512GB SSD + 32GB Intel Optane memory. The 4k display with dedicated memory for the NIvidia card sports a very good picture and the touch screen is accurate and responsive. • The machine can get hot with the drive vents only on bottom of machine and the heat can be felt through the keyboard. It uses air cooling with heat sink. It works best with a USB powered metal laptop, fan-powered, cooler which solves this problem. • Battery life is around 6hrs while using it with the screen at 4K and moderate load. Charging is quick especially due to Express Charge • A minimum amount of bloatware.

My son’s laptop crashed right before Thanksgiving and I had to purchase a replacement for him and this was his choice. He loves it and enjoys using it.

I love working on Dell laptops. If you are used to working on Dell computers then its great !

Nice to have a touch screen but it's not consistently working. I had a HUGE problem establishing chrome as my browser. Great to have a new computer

Great laptop.. Some of the promises like Optane hard drive acceleration was not very obvious ...Camera was faulty ... internet connection was bit slow though I have 1 gig connection at home... May be it was a problem with that particular laptop. I have returned it. I have purchased many laptops from Dell but had never these kinds of issue before.

This laptop had a cheaper feel then I was used to. I usually purchase hp brand or Apple. It was a great deal so I took a chance on it. The dell kept cutting off while I was working on stuff just giving an error message. I’m sure it’s something that could have fixed I was just honestly over it. Returned and got an hp.

I viewed numerous laptops before I purchased this laptop. It’s great for what I needed it for. Fast speed, good storage and I love how it flips over.

First, out of the box this 2-in-1 was easy to set up and get customized to fit my needs. It has a nice aluminum exterior and for its size it's not heavy. It has a good weight. The 4K UHD screen is great. Everything from photos to YouTube videos just pop. The colors are great and you can adjust the settings to optimize the screen to fit what you are doing (basic internet surfing to watching movies). It also flips between landscape and portrait modes when in tablet mode to fit which way you are viewing it. I've never had any desire to have a touch screen, however, now that I have it I enjoy it a lot. It's so much easier to just touch the screen and slide my finger to scroll. Being 15.6" allows for a full keyboard which I like. I've always been the type that needs the number pad. What makes this better than usual is that there is a calculator button just above the numbers. Simply press it and the calculator comes up. For me, this is an extremely handy feature to have. Right next to the calculator button is the CE (clear) button. It's nice to not have to reach to the other side of the keyboard to hit escape to clear the last calculation. One thing that I have struggled to get used to is the fact that the page up and page down buttons are just above the arrows, not at the top right of the keyboard as they always have been. My one complaint is that they color of the keys (gray) don't show the contrast very well, so during the day it is harder to see the keys. However, the backlit keyboard eliminates this issue at night. There are three options for the backlit keyboard. Off, low and high. Startup and shutdown take just a couple of seconds. It is blazing fast. My old laptop took a couple of minutes to start up. The power button is also a fingerprint reader. Just open the laptop and it starts up, place your finger on the scanner and you're logged in. The pen is very intuitive. It allows you to draw with precision and write as though it were paper. The computer can learn your handwriting through training. I often find myself switching back and forth between using the touchscreen with my finger and the pen. The pen stores in a groove below the middle of the screen and is held in place with a magnet. Battery life has been exceptional so far. I've been using it a few hours per night and I usually only have to charge it about every 3-4 days. With Dell Mobile Connect, you can connect your phone and receive and respond to text messages, make phone calls, transfer pictures and more. Overall, I highly recommend this 2-in-1. It would be great for people on the go, people who want something they can draw with, edit photos and videos and people who want great screen quality in a compact package.

NICE laptop but the 15"was to big and bulky for me personally. I'm 5'1" 122lbs and old.

I like this laptop a lot and it’s one of the beat laptops out there
