Bought this laptop for use with my work. Didn't pick up the extended coverage at the time, wish I had. The laptop has a lot of great functions, uses, programs. I especially like the equalizer MaxAudioPro to be used with music playback. After I'd realized my coverage had lapsed, went with a Dell insurance program. Won't go into detail but didn't know if Total Tech was available then but sure would have bought it. Realize this model is hard to find, maybe refurbished. Biggest issue is the fan constantly cycling on. Didn't do it at first, only after three remote sessions to fix other issues. Dells updates are different than other laptops I've used but I can always call and have another tech have a try at it.

excellent performance so far....im one of those guys who keeps like 80-100 tabs open at the same time. the optane memory does an awesome job switching between applications and tabs. best computer i've ever used. would certainly recommend.

Very fast and good for college students with good battery life

Great and reliable computer. Exchanged my mac air ( the one with the flat keys) for this one. 4k where available with enough rams and pen functions for school and work. Only thing I hate is the up down sideways keys on the right bottom which cannot be mapped and often interfere with my writing by hitting page up or down instead

It's quite a powerful laptop. The built in pen is nice and the laptop is quite responsive so there's not any lag time when writing. Also, the touch ID login feature is great. The color quality is amazing and setting it up is pretty easy. The touch screen is great so you don't have to bring a mouse with you everywhere.

Great laptop. Super fast. I can edit with 4k videos. Had it for almost a year now, bad thing is the touchpad is getting kinda annoying to press, so it's the design problem. Also kinda starts to overheat but probably cuz of 4k editing.

Dell never disappoints. The display is great and the graphic card, although it is on the lower end, did the job of editing videos in Premiere Pro. The only problem I have is the trackpad is close to my left palm, which causes the mouse to move to unwanted places while typing.

Using this for music production which requires real time processing Has been great. Its running at 1.8ghz but I need more to run iZotope 9 with no latency. All in all... the picture quality is great, it’s fast, and carries a premium feel.

We run adobe creative cloud on it with no issues. This machine kills any of the apple products out there. Would recommend!

1. The sound when it turns on was distorted from the start 2. It keeps shutting down randomly and making a large beep sound (which is terrible when I'm in class and it keeps beeping and I cant do anything about it let alone take notes) and I tried the fixes suggested below (cause someone else had the same exact problem) and suggestions in forums after I Googled "no bootable devices found" and it still continued to do this 3. I spent so much time transferring stuff and trying to fix this problem but it still is broken. It only wasted my time and money. I'm going to return it but I still lost all that time of me trying to set it up and it shutting down on my homework and me losing my progress

This is a great machine. My last laptop (which I still use) is also a Dell, and has been used daily for years. I have every confidence that this new Dell will also stand up to heavy use for many years. And the price from Best Buy was MUCH cheaper than comparable laptops on Amazon.

This is actually a replacement computer. The first Dell Inspiron 15.6 I bought in March crashed and burned after less than one month. Best Buy was excellent! Todd at the Gresham Oregon location arranged to have the replacement shipped to me even before I returned the broken one, which they could not diagnose or repair due to business restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. So far this unit seems to be behaving, so if we get to more than one month I will call it good.

Received this for Christmas and after a month My only complaint is the fingerprint recognition feature. Seems pretty worthless. Works about 10% of the time. Not a deal breaker but annoying. Otherwise, I’m happy.

This one has double the storage for the SSD, it also is 4K. It was also less expensive than what it would have cost to purchase another HP with the capabilities. Love the flexibility of the laptop in the various ways you can use the keyboard and screen in various positions.

This laptop is super fast and has great features. I especially like how it effortlessly is able to manage applications. My old laptop did not have the speed this one has. The screen is big too. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good laptop for home or business.

This laptop gets all the best items 16 go of memory, dedicated video card, plenty of hard drive, great screen, a numeric key pad, pictures don’t show that and a place for your stylus . I would of liked to see an option for a 32 go of memory and a bigger dedicated video card

It is a nice computer. It comes on automatic when you open the lid of a computer. It is very fast and it is nice that you don’t have to wait for things to happen, it just takes care of it.

I'm a certified ethical hacker upcoming graduate this May. I run very resource coming programs, software, and big workload on this machine and it performs fantastic. Battery life could be improved but I still would rank the battery life as good.

We have used it for almost a month and we are happy with this Laptop purchase. Its light weight, fast, handy. Graphics is very good. Booting, shutdown is fast due to SSD and hoping to keep it as is unless Microsoft make it sluggish. Touch screen working good.

Great laptop at a good price point. The 4K is a nice addition. The graphics card works great with games. The only thing I don’t like (haven’t gotten used to yet) is the mouse pad is towards the left. I am used to it being in the center. Overall I would recommend this PC
