Laptop looks good for a beginner with 1TB hard drive and good camera. It also good for programming.

I really like it because is lite to carry and is easy to work with.

Just what I was looking for a super cool deal! This Dell laptop is rock solid for the under $300 price. Simplicity and functionality are good attributes that I really appreciate in this laptop.

Great laptop for an amazing price on Black Friday. Works great, very functional touchpad. Has a newer i3 with plenty of power for everyday computing, and some gaming, and 6GB RAM for multitasking. DVD drive, HDMI out, we chose a non-touch screen because the battery life is so much better. 15.6 in screen has +'s for size/viewing, -'s for being a bit heavy. Windows 10 works fine. Easy wireless connect to wifi and bluetooth. Everything we need to get done tasks with speed.

This laptop ($249 Black Friday deal) is the best deal you can get on a decent portable computer. Do not expect a Retina display quality, the screen has limited quality and viewing angle is poor, but it comes with decent speed, all the ports you need, enough RAM and 1TB drive. Even at $349 is a great value/money.

This is a great entry level computer. I like everything about this computer except for the trackpad. I will have to get used to the trackpad then I will be happy with this computer. The trackpad does not have button but I would prefer if the computer had buttons or if Dell had some options to customize how you click on the trackpad because when clicking on the trackpad I always seem to click the right button which is not the left button to open application and click on dialog boxes. The trackpad did freeze when I first took it out the box but once I updated Windows 10 and used Dell Update that fix the trackpad from freezing. The other thing I noticed is the when watching videos on my new laptop the factory resolution setting are set at 1366 X 768 which is recommend by Dell or Windows. With the recommend setting the display appears blurry but if you change the setting to 1360 x 768 that fix my issues and now the videos I watch on youtube and overall the display is clearer. I know there is a lot of complains about the display but if you adjust the screen resolution to 1360 x 768 you will get a better display. This laptop has 6GB of ram which is a lot of ram most computers have 4GB of ram. Also, the hard drive space is a plus having 1TB allows for you to store a lot of files on this computer. I was going to return the computer because of the screen was blurry due to the recommend setting but after adjusting them I am keeping this computer. Its fast enough to handle my task. I'm glad that Dell did not include a lot of boat ware on this computer. I wish the laptop was lighter it kind of heavy. Overall this is a great computer I caught it on sale at $249 when Best Buy had a deal and the price had gone up so I feel like I got a great deal on this computer. Before I used the computer to perform my everyday task I did update the computer which did take a while because Windows takes forever to update but once I had everything updated the computer can handle all and any task I throw at it.

The specs for this computer seemed great for the price: 6GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, optical drive, and web cam for $249. First thing I noticed is that surfing and download speeds were slow. My sister has an older HP that is much more responsive on the same network. The speakers on the machine sounded tinny and muted. The images were grainy. However, the worst feature of this machine was the touch pad. The images would randomly shrink and then magnify at the slightest touch, but I would have to left click on the pad to select items on the screen. The battery life was good (more than 5 hours on a single charge). Maybe someone that knows how to customize computer settings could get more performance out of this machine, but I ended up returning it.

This is a good light weight easy to use laptop that I bought for my daughter. It is easy to set up and is working great, she loves it. Screen is big and is great for movies as well, no complaints. For the price it is a great deal I would buy it again.

I was able to get this laptop up an running even though I'm not real good with computers. It has a great battery life. I got the 15 inch so that I could type on the laptop keyboard comfortably. (Also makes for large pictures = eye candy!) It is lighter than my last laptop, though I wish they would put "handles" on them to make them easy to carry around. Don't know why I would ever need a laptop for home use over $300. This seems just right.

My husband purchased this Dell laptop for me as a Christmas present. He did purchase it on black friday and received quite the deal (I'm not privy to the price ;) I currently have a chromebook, but was looking for something a little bigger, with more memory, a faster processor and just something with more capabilities than web browsing. This laptop fits the bill! My favorite feature--the separate number pad (a must have when handling family accounting). The computer starts up quickly, and functions very, very smoothly. I have not yet hooked all of my accessories up, but will be installing my external hard drive and a few other gadgets like the blue snowball.

We were about to buy netbooks for our daughters to use for schoolwork when we came across this laptop for nearly the same price (on black Friday, the difference was about $20 between this Dell and a bare bones netbook with no hard drive). I'm so glad we got this instead! The screen is a nice size, the hard drive is decently-sized (1 Tb as opposed to almost nothing on the netbooks), battery life is good, and they are pretty light. Our daughters were ecstatic to find these under the Christmas tree!

For the price of this laptop (which I purchased on Black Friday), with a 15.6 inch screen, Intel Core i2, 6GB of Memory and 1TB is a steal! I got this for my Mother in Law for Christmas, and she is a basic computer user, so the specs are more than enough for what she needs.

I don't know why a bunch of reviews are so low, I have had no issues with this laptop, I've used it for a bit over a month, no problems at all. I bought it because it had 6GB of RAM and 1TB Hard Drive space, which was great specs. It also has a decent video process and cpu for the $$. It's fast, able to multi-task multiple things with no issues. I use this mainly for watching movies, email, work, video editing 720HD and lower video quality. This computer is great for that.

Bought these during black friday 2016. Insane value for money. My uncle wanted a no frills laptop with a big screen. This serves him well. Highly recommended.

With a 1TB hard drive, and fast processor, this computer has been used over and over for gaming, presentations, movies and more. Love it!

This Dell is a great laptop for what I need. I only wish I had had the extra money for the accidental coverage plan. 6 months after having it the internal Court for the power plug came loose so it doesn't always make a connection. This is the only problem I have with it. Otherwise a great computer.

This is the best laptop I have. And it is light weight. It is fast. Highly recommend.
