Solid build quality and performance for not alot of money. Perfect for non-heavy user such as teens and grandparents. Runs faster than expected and perfect for surfing and running Office applications.

Have owned it now for more than a year and works great, I use a lot of development application and has good performance even with them.

I bought this Black Friday deal laptop for my daughter to replace her outdated model. Dell has been a trusted brand in our family for years; and, we weren't disappointed. It is fast, feature rich, and comfortable while offering a substantial savings over similarly equipped alternatives. A relatively fast 1Tb hard-drive was very attractive. She loves it.

I give this a 4 out of 5 stars because its a budget laptop. the case is terrible all plastic and its rough/awkward at times but for under 300 you get a 6th gen i3 and not some crummy celeron.

Awesome computer for a teenager. It is fast and so far runs every program we have tried smoothly. I do not regret this purchase, particularly after getting it at $249.00 on black friday!

I purchased this laptop as a gift for my daughter on black Friday. We had Geek Squad install & setup Office 365 on it for free. Excellent price for a Dell & for the I core3 performance .

I had ordered two of this laptop. I have already got one and another still on the way. This laptop is good for daily activities and internet. Hardware are superior for it's price. I am not satisfied with the display quality. Display is somewhat blurred. Sound system is superior, processing speed is good. I have used this laptop for word processing and browsing the internet and I find it worth for buying. For the visual issue I am not sure if it has problem with all the products of this model or only one that I got. I am still waiting for delivery of another same laptop. I can write more about the display after comparing with the next one.

Great deal on Thanksgiving day. Bought online and they said it would be 10 business days to get it. Received in 3 days! Way to go! Nice screen, size, ease of use. Good purchase.

I've never been a big Dell fan, but I was in need of a laptop for school. So, I ordered this on BF. Couldn't beat the price. I am so happy with my purchase! I'm not experiencing any of the problems others are. Such as; Lagging, mouse pad, and delayed typing. It does come with an optical drive. There were some that said it didn't. The only con for me is...It does easily get fingerprints all over the front with the type of finish that it is. Other than that, it's a great buy.

It is Worth buying for the price. Fast processer.touch screen is very convenient to operate. Sleek design and light weight.

So far the computer is great. I didn't experience loud noise or irresponsive keyboard/keypad as claimed by other users. I think they just didn't adjust the settings of the mousepad to make it work faster. I also deactivated some of the softwares running in the background and the computer seems to work faster.

So happy I purchased this laptop. Works great, Ive had it for a few months now. I purchased this laptop because of the other two HP laptops I bought were horrible. I can take computer classes on it, use it to surf the web and compete all my other task with no issues. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

This laptop has got enough power and convenience for home use. Good battery back up and works exceptionally well for multi tasking. Felt best in this price range.

Needed a computer that could be retrofitted with an older version of windows for relatively cheap. This one worked out well and I haven't had any issues to date.

For the money ~$250.00, this is a great laptop. I bought this as a gift and used it a bit myself. I typically use a top of the line Mac Book Pro at about 10x the price but to be honest this simple laptop will be able to do much of what most people need. What you are not getting 1) a high-end screen - actually this is a low-end screen, but not horribly so 2) slow hard-drive 3) a pretty case. For general web surfing, office apps etc.., this laptop is fine. If you sink another $50-$100 into it and upgrade to a SSD it will probably be borderline good (especially for the price). Recommended.

This Dell Inspiron notebook has an Intel i3 process or and 6GB of RAM for quick loading of programs and easy multitasking. I suggest this to buy this product...

Purchased this on BF after comparing the decent specs to a low low price. Got it for my mom for Christmas. She needs the basics for surfing, mail, games and this fits the bill. She hasn't had any complaints about speed or freezing or anything else. Good purchase, really liked the price though - 249.

I have been searching for months for a laptop and stumbled on this Dell laptop at Best Buy. I compared features and read reviews. I like everything about this Dell laptop. Works great and exceptional! Very user-friendly. It was indeed THE BEST BUY I have ever made!!! Highly recommended!!!
