fast, great price and it work perfect for my needs

This was a Christmas gift for my 11 year old and she loves it. It was easy to set up, seems to work as it should, battery life is very good also.

A perfect laptop for school. Plenty fast and lots of memory.. It'll be interesting to see if we can use up the 1TB of space on the hard drive.

I bought this laptop for work not expecting much out of it for its price point. As I've used it now for quite some time it has surpassed my expectations and handles everything it needed to and more. It's a little bulky but is justified being very durable. In my opinion a very good laptop for the price.

Got a great Black Friday deal on this laptop so purchased it for my husband who uses it for basic internet surfing and minimal MS office use. They keys are somewhat unresponsive but overall the system works well. I easily installed MS office and other programs we need. Fit the need at a great price.

I have found my new Dell laptop computer more than adequate for my computer needs. I use this computer for personal use, and I am very please with the results. It is a great value for what I need. I had some basic questions and the Geek Squad was extremely helpful in guiding me through my questions.

Bought this laptop during the black Friday deal as my current laptop has become bogged down. I immediately did the Dell and Windows updates as suggested in other reviews and set the display as suggested, 1680. I am a web surfer/shopper and not a gamer and use for pic's and Word processing. Speed is sufficient but it does take a moment or so to boot up. I feel the Web surfing speed is good and pages load pretty quick. I do agree that the touchpad is "touchy" and it seems to wander off a bit and inadvertent things happen like resizing the screen, zooming etc. Keyboard works well for me and not a problem as someone else suggested. I have not used it outdoors so not sure if there is a glare on the display. My other HP laptop has an HD display and I can't see anything on it in the sun. For the price I recommend it at this time with my limited use so far. One negative, there is no button on the keypad area like my HP to simply turn off the WIFI when not using.

Bought this laptop on Black Friday as a Christmas gift. She really enjoys is. She's able to play all of her games and complete her schoolwork. Computer transitions seamlessly through different applications. Would definitely recommend this computer for teenagers with limited use.

So far so good. A good buy for the money. Reasonably fast and powerful. Lightweight enough to carry around to classes.

I'm a Mac user. I have a couple old iMacs, a dead MacBook, and an iPhone. I wanted to get the new MacBook Pro to do my homework away from my desk but couldn't justify the cost. Do I really need to spend over $2k just to do homework in bed? I got a Black Friday deal on this laptop, and it fits my needs. Added on the single license of Office for Word and PowerPoint. The laptop boots up quickly. A Mac user wrote a review here complaining about the screen. How do you compare a $250 laptop to a Mac? The monitor is tiring on the eyes and isn't very clear, but it works when I get tired of sitting at my desk and want to be cozy in bed. I'm also happy with the battery life. I plan on buying another one of these next Black Friday to donate to a kid in need.

My daughter has been wanting a laptop, but we didn't want to get her something too extravagant since she's young. However, we wanted something that would last her a few years and was capable of keeping up with all the demands of school. It's a great computer for the price.

This computer was purchased for my 10th grader who does tons of research and papers/projects. This computer is fast enough and meets her needs. She loves having the ability to watch movies on the cd Drive, so again this computer has been great for our high school student!

Purchased this computer for my son who is in 8th grade. This is a very solid machine for his needs and the price was fantastic ($250). If you are looking for an entry level computer for your children and they like Windows machines, this would be a good one to consider.

Does exactly what I need it to do! Great for spreadsheets (excel), PowerPoint, and web surfing. Fantastic pricing.
