Am a touch typist so the flat keyboard is a challenge; otherwise a nice laptop. Learning how to effectively use the laptop. Nicely priced.

This is a great price for what this system has. Adequate Memory and ample storage for my wife. We bought this to replace an old XP laptop that had run out of space but worked fine. Was also heavy. My wife uses a tablet more than the laptop these days but needs the more powerful PC for artwork and photo handling and the space. We don't like the cloud for this work and storage. System works fine so far. We have owned Dell PC's forever. Good reliable machines. Would rate a 5 except we doj't really care for Windows 10. XP the most user friendly system ever.

This was purchased on price only., I 3 processor I use i7 on my other machines, so it is slower speed but still nice to use for word processing and web browsing I prefer a mouse but touch pad is good enough. Enjoyable inexpensive toy

For the price, great computer and its fast. It works well for surfing the net and has alot of storage space.

At first the cursor would stick a lot but after a few weeks it worked itself out. The lab top works well for me. it's light weight makes it easy for me to take to work every day. I have no complaints about this product.

I purchased this for my sister so she can finish her online classes. The item was open box. At first it was very slow to start, not like normal "new" laptops. It took about a half hour to get going 100%. She likes it.

Our new laptop was a good choice for us as far as having enough RAM and memory, though it does lack many of the bells and whistles of newer laptops. I feel it should last a while and was a solid purchase.

Got this for as a replacement for a 4 year old lenovo laptop. The weight difference was surprising. Pros: light weight compared to my previous model, good speed, fast enough for the basics, ms office work, browsing, card reader, many usb ports Cons: Resolution a bit low for the 15" screen size Keyboard keys flat, so need to get used to typing on them. Glossy screen (would have been nice to have non-glare screen) Overall very happy with this purchase for the price.

This is a great basic laptop for anyone. Super easy to use and pretty fast. Great buy!

If you need a laptop that will get the job done, but don't have a lot of cash, then this is the laptop for you. You get an Intel Core processor and 6GB of RAM, all for a low, low price. The only flaw I came across was that the power-on button light doesn't light up. There is a window there so it looks like it should light up, but it doesn't. I've purchased 2 of these and it is the same on both models.

Good computer for the price computer lags a little bit in the battery is not as long as I would expect have called dell several times with small issues and had very quick customer service

Love the speed on this especially since I watch a lot of videos. It's really light, the speaker quality is awesome for a laptop. The keyboard lights up which is good for night use.

Surprisingly fast. Handles Windows 10 nicely. Very up to date features. Lots of storage. I got it new on sale for in the area of $260.00 plus tax. I don't know why so cheap but I highly recommend this laptop computer. You can not go wrong.

Purchased this laptop for a friend. It had more features than I had expected (DVD, Network port, HDMI port). I think is was a very good value for the money. Friend liked it too.

Best Buy special pkg deal for this Dell was perfect for price and timing. Discounts on extras worked as well. Length of use given speed of changes in laptop technology TBD.

Great computer for the price, was unable to find a cheaper or even comparably priced alternative with even nearly comparable specifications anywhere (even the discount clubs). So far, it has been a solid performer, with the most difficult aspect being Windows 10. I also have become accustomed to touchscreens, so the transition was odd but I now remember how much I actually preferred having a non-touchscreen model.
