Posted .Hi Barbie - We're glad to hear that for the most part your new Dell computer is meeting your needs. If you continue to experience problems with the slowness of your computer we'd recommend the following: Delete temporary files and directories
1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process. Uninstall applications you no longer use
1) Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel.
2) Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use.
3) Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).
6. Empty the Recycle Bin.

Awful computer for anyone

Decided I didn't need anything fancy as I have a different computer for gaming. This laptop worked great for 30 days, now it is absolutely horrible. I know the i3 processor isn't the fastest, but the little bit I am on this laptop, didn't think it would matter. It really makes me question the Dell product and Best Buy for selling it to me. It is quicker for me to use my phone for email and internet surfing than using this junk. It is not my internet speed as I play XBOX live and stream movies on my TV without any noticeable buffering. I even tried connecting a cat6 cable to the router and disabling wifi (for giggles), but explorer and chrome hangs while loading. Microsoft Word/Excel hangs while opening. Also, going into Windows Explorer takes a few minutes. Very disappointed in Dell. It is my recommendation to not buy this particular laptop.

It does everything asked of it in our small business. We do not need large processing power so the i3 is more than adequate. This particular laptop was purchased for my wife to use as the church treasurer. It is only used for light word processing and keeping the books. Great deal.
