It is the slowest computer I’ve ever owned and it’s been slow since day 1. I try to keep it updated but those take forever and these seems to be a new update every day. It was only $300 but I wouldn’t expect it to be as slow as it is being brand new. Avoid this computer.

Perfect for my high school daughter to handle all that she's assigned and of course has other benefits. The 8GB RAM and 1 TB hard drive makes this computer a little better than the base model 4GB / 500MB for not much more money.

The system would have benefited with a low cost DVD. Keyboard is comfortable and nice to the touch, and I have no issues with the style of touchpad used on the system. I would recommend this as a first system for any grade school or high schooler that needs a basic system to do their work. I would not recommend this laptop for someone entering college.

1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.

Sound is very low even when it is on the highest. It is slow and freezes a lot even though I do the updates and basically do not have anything saved or stored there. Just using it for web searching and watching videos online.
