I was in need of a simple home computer. This fits the bill. I do wish it was a bit faster. It is slow to start, but performs well for bill paying and for my online classes. The mouse pad could also use some improvement. It works better with a wireless mouse.

Perfectly suited for my needs. Using for basic voice recording for commercial work. So far no issues. Not the fastest, but sufficient.

The Dell laptop works fine. I didn't need all the bells and whistles anymore, just a reliable laptop with Office installed. My only complaint is that it's Windows 10 and not the familiar 7! And that's not Best Buy's fault!

So far it seems to run well, boot up time is pretty good, the screen looks pretty good, it's a manageable size and lightweight, but looks like it's made of cheap plastic so not sure about durability... Something I think I owe laptops should have. It's running Roblox with no problem, but that's the only game that's been tried so I may update at a later time once I install steam and try some other things. The mousepad is pretty bad though and the speakers are absolutely terrible, they sounded tinny and we couldn't make out what was being said on YouTube when someone is speaking and honestly, they seemed distorted from jump. I also would have liked some different color options for the laptop. Overall not a bad little machine but let me say, I know an i3 processor isn't going to do anything special and even though I bought this laptop for entry-level computing for my daughter, I am assuming we will want it to do something that it isnt going to he able handle. They need to quit selling i3's new.... i-5 should be the lowest processor you can get new and it should be at this price line, they are charging way too much for i3's knowing their limitations and that there's plenty of people out there who know squat about computers that will buy them up without thinking twice and then not be able to do what they intended or had hoped with them... And yeah I bought a i3, but it was all I could afford (and actually went over what I could afford after taxes) and like I said this is for my daughter, she's 11 and didn't need anyting super fancy at this time, but an i-5 at this priceline would have been really nice because it would have grown with her at least a little bit.

At $309 new, this was a great purchase! Even though the laptop has zip and plenty of storage, I still plan to replace the 1TB harddrive with a 1TB ssd. There's very little bloatware and is very quiet. The one thing that could be improved is battery power. I can't reach 6hours on a single charge.

This laptop has been nothing but amazing to me since day one. Its been about a month now and so far so good. It is perfect for my long nights of study and my mini breaks (lol) As an Accounting major I do have to say one of my favorite features is the number pad right next to the keyboard!!!! Its perfect especially that I am always typing numbers into spread sheets and what not. Most laptops dont come with that so I was super excited this one did and for the great low price!

For the price, this laptop has done all that I needed. I am quite happy with the purchase. I am retired so I didn't need anything fancy, and I have an Ipad for travel.

Like the laptop but hate that there is no CD/DVD drive. The screen is not a touch screen. It also takes longer to upload than our HP laptop.

This Dell 15.6" Inspiron laptop does NOT have a CD-ROM drive included. That helps a little with bringing the overall weight down, but at times I wish it was included. I think the HDD is SATA, not solid state so responses are slow. It lags when opening windows or connecting to the internet. The body is much thinner than previous versions of the Inspiron line. Keyboard is also very responsive and has a good feel when typing. I only gave it 3 stars because of the slow speed and missing CD-ROM.

Easy to use, move around, awesome functionality. Battery life is not great. About - hour unplugged max. It’s fast and reliable if you keep it clean.

this laptop is elegant in style, fair is speed with a browser with 10+ tabs open in addition to different office programs. it also has a clear nice sound for music and a very fast wifi adapter. it is suitable for administrative work, and non gamer students from high school to last year of university. they keyboard is also very comfortable with nice spacing between buttons and semi silent button sounds.

It was a gift for my niece who is a college Student. After a year she decided it wasn’t fast enough and traded up to a Mac Air.

It is great for an student, fast and with good storage capacity. The only thing is the battery won't last too long so you have to recharge it very often.

As a computer for a student, this is perfectly adequate. Not the fastest processor, but then, you knew that from the price. Gets the job done, though.

Good computer but somehow after maybe 6 months of having my computer the speakers stopped working and is starting to get a little slow

Like the laptop, plenty of power for Office apps, 5400RPM hard drive is painful to use, and I will eventually swap it out for an SSD

Although I was surprised that several included parts or apps were @3 years old, the price was acceptable and performance seems fine.

Great price - very easy to set up and get started. Replaced an older laptop and it is great to have a faster more reliable computer
