The model I purchased clearly shows where a dvd/cd player would go. I was not happy when I discovered the absence of one.

Even after paying the geek quad to get it ready we had to come home and download updates or something. The computer works fine and my daughter uses it at school.

i3.... the equivalent of a "netbook"

Get an SSD to speed things up, but really, only good enough for online shopping and a movie here and there.

About 2 years and hasn't disappointed me. I love it. Long battery life and was able to read all the cards from my camera and also wirelessly connect to my smart TV and display Netflix and everything else. I've had many laptops and a deal too good to be true and they all broke down on me but so far this has been awesome to me.

The quality is great, as is the screen/image quality. I am not a tech expert, but for school work, browsing, streaming, and lots of Photoshop editing this is a great option for me!

I stripped off as much as I could turning it into a simple game system. This does the job; I have emulators playing the early Zork adventure games, Dungeon Master (1987), and the Pogo game site.
