Very pleased with the performance of this laptop. The 1060 is way more powerful than the 1050ti I originally purchased. The I5 processor will be the bottleneck of this machine. Nonetheless, it plays the games I want to play on high with very good frame rates. Nice build quality as well.

Works great with Oculus Rift. No stuttering. Good display. A bit heavy, but to be expected with a 15" display.

I got this laptop right before the semester started. I wanted something to do my school work on, play some PC games, and record music with. The weakest part of the laptop is the screen. It is an upgrade from the last version but still the weakest part. Personally, it doesn’t really bother me though because I’m not editing pictures or video. This laptop exceeded my expectations and is just a powerhouse for the price.

This is a very nice laptop for the price I got of $745 after tax. Both games I have played on it, Overwatch and Rise of the Tomb Raider, ran quite well. The screen, while IPS, is not the best, but I can't complain. I will probably be throwing in a sdd for storage and another 8GB of RAM down the line, but for now it gets the job done.

We have been experiencing issues with the power cord not working to charge the battery and the laptop giving us messages about it. Should be able to clear that up. Otherwise it is great.

Best for the money period. Powerful, decent screen, solid build quality. And, unlike most gaming laptops looks grown up.

I recently bought the Dell 7577. I think it is a stellar machine for the price with a solid feel to it with great looks. My headphone jack is working fine. I had a Lenovo Y700 960m for the last couple of years. I like the design of the 7577 more but the Y700 had better speakers with a big subwoofer. Not that big of a deal for me though because I mostly use headphones. But biggest upgrade for me was that the Y700 would get much hotter underneath and throttle after a few hours of gaming which would make my games crawl at slow speed, which really sucks if you want to game longer. So heat issue is what I think should be biggest thing in picking a gaming laptop. I have not run into throttling issues with the 7577 at all even after about 5 hours of straight game play. Love the fingerprint reader. Battery life also feels much better than the Lenovo. In deciding to keep this after extensive more research during the return period, I was only concerned about the display brightness and online reviews of poor color on the display of the 7577. I determined that the display looks good enough and cannot justify paying so much for a display on another gaming laptop or an alienware, especially when all had other issues I would have sacrificed such as battery life or potential heat issues which may cause throttling, or cheap construction/quality. The Dell XPS also looked great but it does not run Oculus Rift VR from what I have read on the internet. The 7577 with GTX 1060 runs my Oculus Rift very smoothly and is an easy hookup with no problems so far after hours of gaming on it. Will hold on to the 7577 for a year or two and keep an eye for new laptop gaming laptops coming out.
