Iam giving this review based on my usage of this Laptop until today. Iam very much happy with the Laptop and its Performance, battery backup, display, key board quality. But i would love to have an Backlit Keyboard though SSD would be good iam happy with the SATA Drive,. But i would genuinely prefer Backlit Keyboard for this Price, it would be a best bang for the price. Battery backup is 5-7 hrs depending on the Usage Display is a decent one Performance is great. Keyboard Quality is good. Audio is decent

Impressive computing power with a 7th gen, I7 chipset and 8GB memory. Excellent graphics with a Radeon 4G video card. Nice looking high gloss case. 1TB storage and an optical drive.

Good laptop for home needs lots of storage and easy to operate

So far I’ve been loving this model from dell due to its good processing speed and good storage capacity. Go for it if your budget is low.

I purchased this item as an open box item. However I didn't realize that " open box" meant "used. The laptop had scratches and dings, leftover settings, indicating that someone else had used it, and no documentation in the box. That was my fault for trusting the Best Buy item description. The laptop itself is fast enough, and has OK graphics... however.... to bump up the RAM, I would have to disassemble the unit, and I'm not comfortable doing that. There is NO access cover to change the RAM or the battery. Additionally, rather than have separate indicator lights for drive activity and charge status, there is just one light, and you have to manually change the function of the light. Very clumsy....

This laptop was everything I needed. i7 8gb ram Plus dedicated graphics card. For this price you won't find a better performing laptop. No touchscreen or SSD but that's fine for the price.

i7 12 g ram 1tb hd, not a touch screen. Once you load and update windows 10 and you antivirus software, the spped is not that great, Display is good, sound is better. Mouse is stable and works well. not over sensitive.

We bought this laptop for our adult daughter. It is her only home computer. It was easy to set up. She has used it for every aspect of her recent wedding and it has performed great! She used it to research, order, create a data base, communicate with vendors, family and friends, and so much more. She couldn't have planned the wedding without it and it never gave her a problem!

Bought this Dell to replace a five year old laptop that was running slow. Can't beat the price for an i7, 7th generation processor and dedicated graphics. I really notice the speed difference. Took some time to set up properly with all the updates. I decided to log on locally and I configured Windows 10 for maximum privacy. I'm happy with the purchase.

I bought this with very good value at $599 when on promotion, and this has 7th Gen Core i7, a good (or decent) video card and 1TB hard drive. Slim even with optical drive makes this like a all round but light portable desktop. It looks stylish and sturdy and hope this can last for years for I trust the quality of Dell's products.

I got this to replace my old HP laptop. I have always owned Dell desktop computers and they have never disappointed. Same can be said for this Dell Laptop! Purchased at $599. I was originally looking at the touchscreen model, but chose this because of the price, Intel Core i7 and 1TB hard drive.

I bought this when it was at $599. I got to admit not that I have it and working on it for about more than 3 weeks. It was steal for that price. The combination of an i7 with dedicated graphics card, you can not go wrong with that. I recommend to anyone who is going to get a laptop soon.

Overall not a bad purchase, Windows 10 seems to be the week link. Based upon the specs, I would have expected a bit more performance. Cleaning up some of the Dell bloatware helps. Pros: I like the keyboard, screen, weight, style and it has a CD/DVD Drive. Cons: Windows 10, things just stop running and can't be killed which forces a lot of re-boots. No VGA port (yes, HDMI, but I have a KVM switch and a monitor without HDMI). Overall not a bad system for the price, time will tell.

My computer that I bought is pretty good and runs pretty fast. Fairly easy to use and good graphics

I just needed to do simple office admin work , print invoice and statements. This is an excellent labtop, easy to use and not heavy to carry with me. Absolutely happy with this purchase!

I exchanged my original laptop for one with a faster processor. I love this dell laptop. Works great and is fast enough for my needs. I would highly recommend this laptop. Looks nice too.

Bought this laptop as a graduation gift for my daughter to use in college. So far, it has been a great computer. She did have one issue which I think she caused by a bad Windows update, but Dell got her computer right again. Tech worked with her over the phone and fixed her computer.
