great computer for the price, fast and the touch screen is awesome

My last laptop purchase was a Dell Inspiron back in 2001. At the time it was a pretty hot laptop, a desktop replacement. Three batteries later and a change to the Ubuntu operating system and it was time for a new one. Since my old Inspiron was bullet proof, I bought another but with significant upgrades. It is as fast as my Dell desktop with the added bonus of a 15.6" touch screen. I have used it as a media player and it links up via screen mirroring to my Smart TVs without a hitch. Performance overall seems good. No complaints.

Great computer. I love the amount of storage and the touch screen

This laptop computer is fine for my grandchildren to use for basic functions. They like the ability to use the mouse or touch screen depending on what they are doing, such as using learning programs or playing games.

I bought this computer for a specific task and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Plus it’s a touch screen which makes it even better. I really need the 1 Tb hard drive for my pictures. Couldn’t be better!

Excellent price for the product easy to set up and operate

I bought this to replace my old desktop, and it's working out very well. I like the portability; was able to take in on my last trip. It also connects very easily to wifi at work, etc. Using HDMI cable allowed me to connect to TV, which made for a nice photo show for my mom. The touch screen makes it a little easier to maneuver on screen.

This laptop took some patience with the slow boot up. Slow in all operations in comparison to my old laptop. The touch screen is a nice feature. As I become more familiar in daily use, this is a good laptop.

This laptop is an upgrade and so far I am loving it. It has many features I still have to learn but the ones I have learned are great. I now have a touch screen, increased memory, better keyboard, and its much faster.

I've wanted to try a touchscreen for awhile but could never bring myself to pull the trigger. I don't like change. This computer perfectly suits my needs as a fully online college student. I am so satisfied with this laptop that I am even considering selling my desktop computer and relying solely on the laptop for my schoolwork.

This is a good basic laptop for documents and web browsing. Graphics are good and the speed is decent. Initial laptop only worked for 2 hours and was replaced by Best Buy. No issues with the new unit.

My 2 year old computer died, so I had to purchase a new one. I use Dell at work and decided to give it a try. I was used to the touch screen, so I chose this one because of the touch screen and the price. It is a good computer for the price. I miss the 19" screen that I had, the way my keyboard would light up when I pressed a button for night time use, & the way I could charge my phone with the screen closed, but I am able to do everything else I need to with this one.

This was to replace an old laptop that had died a miserable death. I have been quite pleased with it's function, with one exception. The updates, for Windows 10, would not load. Repeatedly, it would try to update, then say the attempts to update were unsuccessful, and that all changes were being removed. Later, it would repeat that entire process. This continued, many times, until I had a computer programmer evaluate and correct the situation. I have no idea how he mastered it, but after working on it several times, for hours each time, he finally got it to load the updates successfully. For some reason, it was behind on updates, by several, when I brought it home ftom the store initially.

The Dell is a good computer for the cost. It does a good job but isnt the quickest one to complete the task. Touch screen is nice but not sure the extra cost is worth it. Overall good product.
