Ease of use right out the box. Light. Sleek. Battery lasts a long time. Keypad takes a little getting used to, but after a couple times, you'll be good. I use it mostly for Music Production and the software I use is resource heavy, and it handles whatever I throw at it and I do a lot of internet surfing. Very responsive. It's very quiet. RAM is sufficient. Has no CD drive on this model, which is not a big deal. I have it attached to the 32 inch Samsung via HDMI cable (which is not supplied, but they are not that expensive) that came as a package deal. I see myself having this laptop for quite some time. Just a word of advice, make sure you take your time picking a laptop, as some other retailers out there, don't offer the amount of RAM as this one has, which is 16 GB to start. At the end of day, it suites my needs 100 percent. You have to try it out for yourself, but I do believe you will be happy with the purchase.

I have been using the Dell since Christmas. So far it has been an excellent unit. Easy set up ,fast and responsive. The touch pad is set a little bit to the left and had to adjust to the location. Keyboard is great. Touch screen is responsive. Has plenty of ram and storage. Did not have a lot of unnecessary programs. A real plus. Did not have to spend a lot of time deleting unwanted programs. Overall seems to be an excellent buy!

Love my Dells. Last one lasted 7 years and still going for grandson. Did not really need the touch screen but like it a lot. Speed is pretty good, display is really good to me. The terabyte of hard drive is great More than enough for me. Love my Netflix, streams great. Can not really think of anything bad. Yup I would like higher end but for the price I am very happy

I picked this up because I needed a functioning computer to replace an older model. I didn't have a large budget but this one was on sale and had good reviews. I expected an lower end unit with basic functionality but nothing to brag about. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of load up and smooth interface. Its relatively light weight and the touchscreen is a bonus. I especially like the battery life. I can get a good 6 or 7 hours.

We got this for my mom for Christmas and she LOVES it!! She was using a very old HP laptop, which was great when it was young, but it just got to the point (almost 8 years old) that it wasn't able to operate smoothly. While she doesn't do much on her laptop except banking, email, and watching movies via Netflix, she needed something that could operate smoothly. She loves it! It didn't come with a lot of bloatware, which was refreshing. It is easy for her to navigate Windows 10 and she is thrilled beyond words. Now she can watch her old movies, catch up with her grandkids, download photos, and not have to worry about lack of memory or RAM (which was the problem with the old laptop). It's very lightweight, we were able to find an inexpensive sleeve for when she goes to the common area to visit with other residents in the home she is in, and easy to operate. I'm even considering getting one for me to have in my craft room.

I bought this laptop for my 9 year old grandson as his first "serious" personal computer. I was delighted to find such a capable laptop with an i3 processor, 6 GB of DRAM, 1TB HD, and touch screen display.

Bought this laptop about a month ago because I wanted something more on-the-go but more functional than a tablet. This laptop has a touchscreen, which runs flawlessly on windows 10. The CD/DVD drive works well too, which I use for ripping music and installing my older games. Speaking of games, this PC has some pep, able to play games like Dragon Age: Origins, Civilization 5, and Jackbox 3 with little effort, but don't expect it to play graphically challenging modern games. All in all, it's a great laptop for the price. Pros: -Price -CD/DVD drive -Responsive Touchscreen. -HMDI out -Good battery life -Good Performance Cons: -Screen Resolution -Noisy touchpad

I bought 2-identical Dell laptops for my nephews and niece who are in their early teens and use them for home work and surfing the internet, watching videos and playing games. Pros: This laptop comes with a huge 1TB hard drive to store lots of documents, pictures and music files. The 6GB of memory, should be the minimum requirement for light-duty home users and students. I found the computer to be speedy when surfing the net and watching videos. Cons: The 6GB of memory cannot be expanded. I consider myself to be a medium to heavy user and I require a minimum of 8GB for my laptops. Overall, I think that these Dell laptops were a very good buy for the cost.

I do most of my computing and communicating on Apple devices. However, I have a couple of programs for which there is no Apple version. So, I keep a pretty cheap Windows laptop around for use with those programs. My last one was a 2012 HP model with an AMD processor. I regretted that purchase fairly soon because the processor was slow. When it was time to replace the 2012 model, I knew I wanted an Intel processor. I compared several models from several manufacturers. When all was said and done, this Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series laptop won out. Plus, I had a couple of "My Best Buy" coupons which brought the price down even further. The speed is noticeably faster, the storage larger, and the touch-screen function is an added plus. All in all, this laptop represents great value for the money.

The Dell Inspiron is a good machine. It's not blisteringly fast, but quick. It is pretty sturdy, and has a bright, clear screen. I like the fact that it is much lighter than previous 15.6 in laptops I have carried/owned. I have had a couple of times in the 6 weeks since purchase in which it locked up and I needed to reboot. I can't say definitively that those occurrences were hardware or software related. I got this computer for one principle reason, to run dual-screen PowerPoint presentations. And, thankfully, it has been very helpful for that. Previously I paid 2.5 times as much for a Lenovo that wouldn't support Presenter view (because it wouldn't support dual monitors). For the price, and what the machine can do, this was a bargain.

This is a great laptop..especially for the price. I wasn't sure about windows 10 but it is easy to use. Large hard drive, i5 processor provides plenty of speed for the apps I use. The touchscreen is a nice feature though I haven't gotten used to using it. My only complaint is the space bar. It's very touchy and often doesn't put the space in between words so you have to carefully review what you've typed or use spell check.

I got a HP with a AMD10 processor when my older HP finally bit the dust after 10 years. The new HP was nothing but updates...screen freezing and a whole other irritating moments of my life that I'll never get back. Swapped into the Dell and this laptop has not let me down. Quick ..responsive..easy to set up and do things with. Love the touch screen on it..just everything makes this laptop easy to use for family use.

I love it. I've had it for a couple months now and It works really well. I use it mostly for school. The classes I take accumulate a lot of documents so the storage is wonderful. It is very fast and not too heavy. I bring it to some of my classes so it's great. The only issue I have is that sometimes you can't see the cursor. But if you just put it in sleep mode and then log back in you're good to go. Other than that I love this laptop!!

We did a lot of research before picking this laptop. This laptop is the best for the price and quality you get. the image is great and very user friendly. The battery life seems to last for a while but i keep my brightness down quite a bit and don't run any super intense programs. I would highly recommend this laptop for anyone who wants a laptop for writing, research, internet surfing and light gaming. It really is a great laptop. :)

Bought this for my wife who started college. Her old one would lag just running online classes. Invested a little more instead of going with the lowest cost laptop for more ram and the I5 processor on this. My wife loves it. She says it runs really smooth and she has no problems with her classes. The large HD space gives her plenty of room for her thousands of photos from her hobby also.

Bought this a month ago or so to replace a chromebook that i hated with a passion. I did some research and read a whole bunch of reviews before i went in the store to look at it before making the final purchase and let me tell you! I loveeeee this laptop. Probably one of the best ones i've ever had. Super fast, doesn't lag and so much space! And the touch screen is a plus!
