Bought this laptop as a gift and am satisfied for the price. It has great features including a touch screen, 8GB of ram, i5 processor and 1TB hard drive. Unfortunately, the only negative is the screen resolution of 720p.

This is an amazing laptop from Dell. This laptop includes touch screen feature for very reasonable price with high configuration like intel i5 processor , 8GB ram and 1TB Hard disk. This deal was only available at the BestBuy during ThanksGiving. I would recommend to buy this laptop for the reasonable price which best buy is offering. Thank you!

I hate Touchscreen Laptops and this is no different. I still wish everyone just stop making Touchscreens and concentrate on quality of the product. Configurations are at par with other ones out there, 1TB, 8GB RAM, 15.6 Screen, I5 Processor, but still its just a basic functioning laptop, don't expect wow factor for this price range. For Day to Day use this is great . But my experience with Windows Laptops is bad, they cant last more than 2 years, that too with all the time to time formatting.

This was a great price for a name brand, thus good warranty backup. I wanted a laptop that will last a few years and not be to small or to slow as software gets larger and larger. Intel i5 processor should solve that with 8gig memory and a 1 tb hard drive.

My new laptop is perfectly worth it. I use it for my home office and this laptop capabilities fit my needs. 1. The processing speeds is fast and consistent. 2. The space is more than enough! 3. The touch screen feature is very responsive to my touch and just a great added bonus. I recommend that you try it at the store and at home. Best buy has a fair return policy that allows you that flexibility. Now my wife is asking me for one.....im thinking this would be a great Christmas gift.

My kids love the large screen and the fact that it's touch screen. It works well, it's fast and reliable. The keyboard is waterproof and the whole thing is durable, so I recommend it for kids.

I'm very happy with this laptop. Amazing specs for modestly priced computer. 8gb RAM, 1TB HD, I5 processor and a touch screen. Overall its also much thinner than than 4yr old laptop iit replaced.

I bought this laptop for my college son to use for school, and so far it is working as expected. It has plenty of RAM (8 GB), HD storage (1 TB), and chip speed (i5) for the moderate demand his school work (mainly word processing and Web browsing) places on it. I've owned a Dell Inspiron before, and it lasted me ten years, so I have hopes that this one will serve my son for three or four. The combination of features--e.g., web cam, ten-key pad, touch pad, optical disc drive, Bluetooth, and wifi, among others--is the kind of package I usually look for, and the normal Best Buy price of $500 is worth it, let alone the pre-Black Friday sale for $350, which we took advantage of.

I was a little leery, based on the low price, but I am pleasantly surprised. I've had a couple of Dells, and this one was as easy as the others to get up & running. Boot up is very fast, the hard drive is plenty big, and I can have multiple applications open at the same time with no slow downs. I've had it a few months, and had no issues. The battery life is great, and Windows 10 seems to work just fine now that I'm getting used to it.

Just received this laptop and I can't help but notice how slow it is. Did anyone else have this problem? The mouse keeps freezing and it's starting to get irritating. Gonna play with it a little more before taking it to get looked at to make sure I didn't miss over anything when setting it up. Another slight downside for me is the material that this is made of, I'm not a big fan of it, it feels kind of cheap but overall it seems like a pretty good laptop so far. Nice weight to it, the optical drive is a huge plus for me being that it's getting harder to find these days. Hoping I won't have to return!

After looking at every website possible on Black Friday, I finally found this product, which it seemed perfect for my need with a reasonable price.I'm a college student, so I didn't need a computer with all the features that the latest models have, so this computer is fast enough for me. Besides, it is very lightweight, so I can carry it in my backpack with ease. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I'm not normally a fan of Dell. I also was interested in getting an i7 processor. But when I saw the sale on this, I was compelled to try it out. In fact, I bought 2 of them. The i5 processor is really more than fast enough for most people's use. Let's face the fact this not a gaming laptop nor should anyone expect it at this price. The touchscreen works well. The keyboard does include a full numeric pad too. I'm surprised that it's as light as it is even though it has an optical drive. As with most laptops, it does come with a built-in microphone and camera for Skyping. I'm glad I bought 2.

Picked this up online during the Black Friday sale. It had the best specs for the money. This was my first laptop and 5th Dell computer. I usually get upper mid-level pc's, but am in a bad place financially these days, so had to get something in the budget level. I really like all the features (touchscreen, audio quality, etc). The big issue for me turned out to be the speed, pretty slow for a brand new computer. I'm talking up to 15 seconds to load a page when surfing the net. And sometimes when clicking on something the command not being acknowledged by the computer and having to re-click. Brought it back to BestBuy and the techs wanted $40-$150 to "fix" it. I said a new computer should be working out of the box, no thanks, I may just return it. I then called Dell and their tech couldn't have been more accommodating. They did a remote full diagnostic and updated some things and now it is so much quicker. Maybe a tiny bit slower than my expectation (up to 2 or 3 seconds to load pages), but a huge improvement and speedy enough for me to want to keep it, especially for the price! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a budget level laptop. Thanks Dell!

I purchased this computer to replace an earlier computer. It works great for my uses, i.e. social media, ongoing games that are not intense and work utility programs. So far, no problems, so, it's a keeper.

Bought this on Black Friday for $349 and gave it to my son as an early Christmas gift because his last one broke. It has the I5 processor and some decent ram. Plus, the touch screen is a nice option too. He hasn't had any issues with it and continues to use it everyday. I hope this review helps. Thanks

I reinstalled Windows on this machine (as I do on everything to start fresh), therefore I do not have information about the software that came preinstalled on this machine. However, for the price, I am incredibly impressed with the quality in the screen and performance from the machine. Even at the $499 list price, I still feel that this machine is a great mid level machine with enough of everything to provide great performance in a normal working environment.

I got this in the pre thanksgiving deals for $350 and it is worth the price. With i5 processor , touch screen 8gb for someone who is not looking hard core performance ..this does the job.

I bought this while on sale for only $350, which is a heck of a deal! It's my first laptop, and I was always hesitant at buying one for so cheap, but due to its specs, it was a deal I couldn't pass up. I love it, because it has a great processor and plenty of hard drive space, and it's also touchscreen, which is perfect when I'm too lazy to use the mouse to scroll. So far so good, and I expect to use it much more for the coming semester in school.

This laptop was bigger/heavier than i expected (not necessarily a bad thing). At first the mouse would freeze as i'd scroll every few min....but after the system updates that doesn't happen anymore. Touch screen works nicely. I'm coming from an 8 year old laptop..... The i5 is perfect for me. No complaints here...especially for the Black Friday price!!
